I was there at the meet. It was definitely a good time even though neither team really did that well. Still, our girls prevailed so Roll Tide!

Why would I be shitting you? Gymnastics meets are a great time. You bring a flask into the Coliseum and start pregaming. It lasts two hours, provides entertainment, and we know we are going to win. What is not to like?

I could go on for awhile but it's a demonstration not a sport for openers.

And then you clowns are going to try to shite on baseball, and you wonder why you're not taken seriously as a people.

13,921 was the final attendance count.

When I was on campus we would go to El Rincon, get hammered on their happy hour specials, go to the meet and have our fun, with continued partying afterward. I miss those days

It most definitely is a sport, and I never shat on baseball. I do not particularly enjoy watching baseball, but that doesn't mean I have anything bad to say about it or the people that enjoy it.

I will give you it's an athletic event. It's not a sport though.

I prefer George Carlin's baseball vs. football comparison.

and you can call it what you want, but hitting and fielding a baseball isn't any harder to do doing multiple backflips on a 4"wide balance beam.

Has nothing to do with difficulty. Walking on a tightrope is difficult too but I'd hardly call that a sport either. Anyways, to each their own. It's a tiresome debate because there is no answer. I respect their athleticism and the difficulty regardless.

And I would venture a guess that it is more difficult. How many times out of 100 attempts does an elite gymnast land those flips? More than 30?

I would take it, but I'm never changing my sig quote.
