Alabama gymnastics routinely packs the house.
They are going for a third NC in a row.
They have won 6 NCs and Coach Patterson is the last remaining coach hired by Bear Bryant and she has been with the program since gymnastics became an NCAA sport in 1982.

Bama regularly puts 12,000-15,000 in the stands for gymnastics meets. In fact, the only time you usually have less than that at a meet is if it is held during spring break.
That's awesome. I don't even know if Mizzou has athletics. I'm in St. Louis and I have heard that the biggest money maker for the city is actually when they host the wrestling championships. It's not when they host March Madness. Apparently the wrestling fans are pretty rabid too. Of course it helps that most of the top tier programs are relatively close.

Do all the SEC schools have gymnastics?

Average attendance last year was 13,742 with a high (full capacity) of 15,075 for the meet against Arkansas.

Some LSU girl did a belly flop on the bars. I'm surprised she got up.

No. Bama, LSU, Auburn, Arkansas, Kentucky, Georgia, Florida, and now Mizzou.
After 3 rotations Bama 147.825- LSU 146.875

I wish this still existed in the SEC. It was one of the sports that the conference schools decided to drop due to Title IX.
Tennessee was the last school to drop the sport. I think they were able to hang on to men's wrestling scholarships until the mid 80's.

My brother went to school on a football scholarship even though he never really loved playing football. He loved wrestling so he quit football and wrestled...heavyweights. Lost his wrestling scholarship due to Title IX and ummmmmm, welllll, he became a cheerleader.
Of course I'm 6' 200 and he's 6'4 300 so I couldn't give him no shite about it.

Looks like Bama has won 196.575 to LSU 195.525.
Bama did not have a very good night on the floor.

Yeah. They had a lot of slips at the end.

I used to go watch Meredith Magos because she was looking good. :)

will this carry as much weight around here as 21 -0 or 21 - 17?

I have no idea if that is a close one or a blowout. Due to looking at past scores, I know that both LSU and Bama didn't perform all that well.

I think it's a decent sized victory but like you said, neither team did that well.
