She is asleep in my arms. I cant sleep. Just watching all the coverage of the storms.

ugh.. you're on a whacky pattern. I watched a ton of coverage the last two days. Had to finally force myself to watch something else. It's easy to get sucked into it and forget everything else. Try to watch/do other things too, or you'll end up getting too depressed keeping up with it. You can help and do things positive, without letting yourself get so involved in the coverage that you get too wrapped up, if that makes sense.

That's nuts. Can only imagine what was going through your head and everyone else watching it bear down like that.

I don't know the full details just yet. Will find more out in the morning. Shoot me an email and I'll reply to ya in the morn when I know the specifics. I'll give you my cell number in the email so you can get up with me if you want. I also have a southern linc and those seem to be more reliable with contacting people. I'll have it with me also.

Dang.. used to work up there alot. Some of those homes were really old antebellum style homes. Cullman took a beating all night.

Huntsville TV stations have showed some aerials of Phil Campbell, Dekalb Co and Hackleburg but I havent seen those posted anywhere. None of Madison Co has power yet and they are saying it will be Monday evening at the earliest before TVA tells them it's ok to start working everyone back on. Even then, they are saying it will be sporadic.

How is everybody doing? I am just hating the fact that the storm hit my hometown. My mom and sister are taking it badly

does 15th get power from campus? if it does it might be on soon because here at least stuff on the universitys power grid is always up first if they lose power.

I went back today and looked at NOAA prediction for tornadic weather Wednesday and what areas it would affect. They were spot on.
