WSM out of Nashville reporting that 64 have died in Alabama.

ETA: Sorry, it says 10 in AL bringing the toll in the region to 64.

Weather folks are saying at least several F4's. Probably an F5 or 2, but won't know for sure until the weather folks go out and look at damage and grade them then.

I know that Ider is in Dekalb county. Have you heard any reports from Ider?

Damn. That is so sad. I cant imagine what they are going through. Too many images like the ones from Katrina will be seen in the next few weeks.

Thunderstorm warning with possible tornado on ground near SW Coosa county in Alabama. Cloud tops at or around 53,000feet moving 070 degrees at 44 kts or 51 mph towards ENE.

This guy is sitting in the university mall parking lot when it comes through and tanks the tornado... Absolutely insanely close.

I have friends up there and it got pretty bad there too. Cell service is out of the question up this way.
