AU fans are pissed that they sold their soul for Bruce Pearl, and now only a year later Bama is going to one up them....again. They had convinced themselves that AU was about to dominate the state in basketball. This was not part of the plan.

Why would you leave Kansas for Alabama? The jayhawks bring a lot of attention to that state and it helps the shockers.

That would be a fricked up move, and it would be a slap in the face to hoosierville, shockerville, and college basketball in general.
Alabama fans are complete a-holes as it is. Please, Marshall, please don't go to Alabama and make those egos even bigger. Please don't. The whole sports world is begging you not to go down to that school. Let them have their football. Another quality school deserves to have you for basketball.

The problem with your claim that Auburn fans are pissef is that it assumes anybody outside a few delusional Bammers believes your basketball program is actually going to hire Gregg Marshall.
Please point me to all the people outside bammers own fan base who believe that is going to happen. That group of people would likely range somewhere between tiny and totally non existent

Anyone that mentions Izzo this time around is just joking around. The closest tie he has to Bama is that he's friends with Saban.

Face it, Bama has more $ to spend than AU did on show-cause. It will be a fresh, healthy hire. And Bama will still own AU and will be playing for championships.

When you are comparing a washed up, post-show cause version of Pearl, then yes, Marshall > Pearl.
If Pearl is such an elite, high in demand coach, why the hell is he at Auburn? There were very few programs willing to gamble on Pearl, and AU is exactly that type of place.
