You got your balls defended and couldn’t find an open shot.

We’ve been 1 for over a month. Handling it well

Saying auburns defense is the sole reason Bama shot like shitt is one I will not agree with. We had PLENTY of open looks and just missed.

It’s ok. You’re still in the first stage of grief. You’ll move on to the second soon.

Scored 85 on the best team in the nation and only made 5 3’s. I’m not sure I call that killer defense.

You lose.
You get nothing.

Good Day Sir.

I state we shot bad and you won. You are just pissed I won't agree to your reasoning. You are the juvenile. Stats are on my side. I watched the game and saw the open looks we had. We just missed the shots. If you can't handle that you need to grow up.

Athletes will be the first to tell you that when you are playing quality opponents they instinctively want to tense up in nerves. Well once you are playing tense even free throws can go awry. Bama's woes may not be all Auburn defense but that doesn't change a lick from what I just watched.

Many of Alabama’s outside shots were contested, rushed or both. ran good actions offensively, but Auburn had a hand in a shooter's face constantly, made catches tough and slowed Alabama’s tempo down, which forced the Tide to take pressured and difficult shots at the end of the shot clock, the antithesis of how Alabama has been able to thus far.

From your own sites recap of the game. The defense was stifling

It’s obvious that he has no idea what he’s watching.

Auburn had their fair share of FTs and open looks that never fell.

We can use this argument until the end of time. Defense made a difference but team was not making shots tonight also

I'm not going to agree with you and that just burns you up. Sorry, I watched the game. I saw the missed shots.

Make Bama live and die by the 3 ball. That’s the recipe to beat them.

This hasn't been true for multiple years at this point.

Bama sure are trying to pin this loss on their 3 point shooting.

Especially in front of the home crowd. It did look like Bama was pressing and Auburn’s defense is elite. Which compounds the pressing effect of taking questionable shots.

If you score less points you made less shots. It is your fault you lost.

What happens if I go 4 for 4 in the paint and you are 3 for 3 from outside the arc? You made less shots but I scored less points.

They shot poorly from 3, but part of the problem is they were taking stupid 3 point shots when they should have driven the lane. They also gave up multiple possessions by just running down the court and bricking a 3 with 20 seconds still on the shot clock.

Also, just making 8 of those attempts (instead of 5) would have made this a completely different game. They didn't "die by the 3" by any means. They gave Auburn a great game even while shooting poorly from 3.

It doesn’t burn me up. The fact some ostrich bama fan wants to stick his head in the sand is irrelevant. The vast majority of people who watched the game — again including the bama beat reporter above — have credited auburns defense for disrupting your shooting.
