If you really want to dive deep and are actively striving to identify truth using syllogisms and moral ecology, it can be determined that Alabama shan’t win the SEC West. Why you may ask? Quite simply, it is because of their secondary. If you want to attack a team, you strategize to exploit their weakest point, which, for Alabama, is the secondary.

This season I think there is a particularly good chance for that weakness to exploited because of the array of receiver talent that is distributed throughout the southeastern conference. We have Terrace Marshall at LSU, Jauan Jennings at Tennessee, Darius Slayton and many a Davis at Auburn, Hardman and Riley Ridley at UGA, and a triumvirate of outstanding receivers at Ole Miss. I beg all of your pardons for asking, but which DBs at Bama can match up with that? If the other SEC QBs can find ways to get these receivers the ball, Nick Saban and krewe will be in for a long season. [END SCENE]

The only issue is that Alabama has a legitimate QB again.

Depends if Saban is stupid enough not to play his best qb or if that qb is made of glass or not.

We cannot be so hasty in our assumptions. Remember that Anthony Jennings once lead a 99 yard game winning drive.

Hardman and Riley Ridley at UGA

Not sure what this has to do with Alabama not winning the West.

It’s always their weakness. If you look at their past and the games that they lost it was always by teams attacking their secondary.
Usually they find a way to put pressure on the QB and combat that .

And by weakness, we mean they only have 2 All-Americans typically in the secondary.

Yeah they finally replaced that shitty SEC Offensive Player of the Year.

You might be setting yourself up for disappointment with this kinda thinking.

They've been the most talented team for the better part of a decade now. Key players have left every season, yet they continue to win championships. Until they have a massive dropoff in recruiting or Saban retires, they will be the SEC favorite basically every season.

Saban could send out the bench warmers of a middle school team and someone get them into the CFP.

I didn't say he was shitty, but that whole SEC POY thing is kind of irrelevant now.

I know, but he has a down season last year and all of a sudden he's turned into Clint Mosely.
