Was there supposed to be more? I'm surprised there were 12.

Middle of the day on a Tuesday, hostage situation was ongoing nearby, etc.

Don't let this distract you from the fact bama blew a 14-0 lead

most bama fans have no idea where Tuscaloosa is.

I asked people in orange and cheering for the Clemson Tigers at my Pacific Northwest area bar where Clemson University was, and they had no clue. Not just city, the state. I am sure a ton of bandwagon Bama fans are the same, but I had never seen such lack of knowledge. And yes, it was the Clemson Watch Party bar.

Too bad Dabo will be the next after Saban... sorry Clempson. When mama calls he will come running.

That's about what Auburn draws for a typical home game.

Yeah, Jordan-Hare isn't very highly thought of nationally.

Last year Clemson returned to an estimated 2,000. I knew 'dozens' was an understatement. LINK

This doesn't fit his narrative, it was only a few dozen.

Quit with the "middle of the day" bullshite. Had Bama won, it would not have mattered.

I'll grant your hostage situation argument only slightly because people would have had to consider going to meet the team before staying away because of hostages. And I doubt there was much consideration.

Has six in a reaux affected your logic?

Even if there were quite a number of fans to show up at Greenville- Spartanburg airport last year, my guess is that 12 or less will show up next year in their return from the TaxSlayer Bowl.

Off topic, but has anyone here ever flown into this airport? It's fricking terrifying.

I am sure Nick Saban would say that was 12 people to many.

Everyone doesn't get a trophy.

Bama has won it 4x recently. Did it happen then? This standing in a parking lot thing is a new one to me, so I don't know how it was handled in the past.

Do people generally go back to campus to meet a team coming home after losing a title game? I don't know, maybe they do. Hell, how many Alabama people showed up last year when our guys got back after they won? I honestly don't know.

I was driving back to my house from the game. I appreciate those guys and their season, but I'm not really sure that they needed 50,000 people to greet them and tell them they were loved when they got home. If that makes me a bad fan so be it.
