Agree. Taking a picture isn’t disrespectful

It's the standing/posing on it.

So in 1 year, OU has gone from "not SEC ready, Big 12 b!tches" to disrespectful bullies for taking pictures on a storied team's logo after defeating them at home

Love how you newbs have selective memories. Did you forget that last year you won a grand total of 2 SEC Conference games? What's really sad is you even lost to lowly Mizzou....

Now you had one good year and ypu act like you dominate the SEC...

I've got a lot of cash on Bama next weekend and not worried at all about losing it. You are about to be their bitches with that D2 offense...even if you get lucky and can get past them your run will then be over.

I had no idea Bama fans had such delicate feelings. Ooooh! Careful! Don’t upset the -3s. No photos please, They just can’t handle the disrespect

I heard that if we win our players are gonna steal sisters and wives from Alabama folk.

You'll find that the bammers are very good at bundling such relations. Sister/wife/aunt/cousin is such an efficient model.

Or, get the frick beat out of you eventually after a game for it. Winning a game doesn't give you the right to shite. We don't even allow our fans to rush the field.

Understand, we Okies are a decent folk. But we are one..." frick beat out of you "

Do that , and find out what happens to you in Norman.

There was no "rushing the field".. you POS punk. Just a respectful celebration of a decent win.. we were not supposed to get.

No rushing the field.. just some pictures by the team who won at midfield.

After your post, I have more respect for LSU, than 'Bama punks like you.

Is there anyone on this forum who understands you don't stand/pose on logos?

It's an unwritten rule, you just don't do it. Players don't even stand on their own logos, much less opposing team players.

This isn't new shite. It's always been this way.

Does anyone remember when George Teague(former Alabama player) knocked the shite out of Terrell Owens? Teague was going to legit fight him over it.

I can only guess you guys never played the game.

Players don't even stand on their own team logos. It's considered disrespectful.

If you don't believe me, just google the shite.

Then do not put it on the field. They play all over it.

You are a punk. If you deny the wining team to take celebratory photos at midfield. That is as mild as it gets.

My bad, for thinking 'Bama was any different than LSU. Believe me.. won't happen again.

It's not disrespectful to play on it.

These are unwritten rules, I didn't make them up. It's considered disrespectful and bad sportsmanship. You either get it or you don't I guess.

11 unwritten rules of football

quote:

11. Disrespecting an opponent’s field

It is not OK for players to dance or trash an opponent’s field, especially their midfield logo.

There was no "dancing' or trashing. Just photos.. joyful of course. After beating the mighty three loss alabama team ... at their Homecoming.

You should be grateful that it matters, beating alabama, on their home field. I expect that such a feat, not be so uncommon in the coming years as saban no longer is the only one who can pay for play players.

Enjoy alabama's descent into mediocrity.

They were standing on and posing on it.

All I'm getting is that you never played the game yourself and thus have no clue about these unwritten rules. But players know.

I've been an Alabama fan for over 50 years, these are not bad times no matter how much you new fish fans think it is.

Congrats. I've watched them all if makes you feel better.

I wouldn't trade records considering the significance of the games won and lost.

Can you imagine going from winning championships or playing for them every year, to getting upset because a team took a picture at midfield? Lol.

Actually I cannot imagine getting upset at somebody taking a photo at midfield after a game.

Like I said, it is actually a sign of respect if it is a photo like the one the OU guys took where they were just standing there.
