It’s not really. Outside of the USCe fans it’s just the media generating views. You will see tonight.

SC didn't lose to LSU. They lost to the refs.
Carolina didn't lose to LSU and Clemson is the same Georgia.
These are winning arguments friends.

How is this even a discussion?
If they “think” Carolina is better that’s all that matters
“FSU isn’t the same team anymore”
They can do that this year and say “Carolina isn’t the same team this year”
Or, they can say “head to head trumps all”
They can make whatever choice they want then defend it because there is no accountability

Georgia is a better win than any Carolina
I'm not asking for a 4th seed. I'm asking for 12th and a chance.

As for playing in Columbia, you lost 2 home games to Ole Miss and LSU and got taken to the wire by ODU and Missouri.
ODU was our QB's first game ever. IF you can't see his progression as a player through the season, you're blind. And contrary to popular belief on this board, Mizzou is a good team. the won 9 games are were ranked in the top 25 when we played. Those aren't the black mark you think they are.
SC's only bad loss in Ole Miss. People keep bringing up that loss, but in reality is no different than Bama losing to Tennessee.

I'd say Sc over TA&M is similar to UGa. People forget that A&M was leading the SEC at the time and the SC loss knocked them out of the championship race.

If only there was a way to determine which team is better between bama and USCe.

Hey, Maybe we could ask the refs from the LSU game...

Wow, a team that was getting worse probably wouldn't beat them by 5 touchdowns then I guess. Because we were told a team that beat that good team by 5 TDs did it while in the midst of a late season decline.

Of course - other than home vs road and the whole beatdown vs 1 score game that ended with a turnover on a drive to tie the game thing. Basically exactly the same really.

I guess there's no way to know. It will forever be a mystery.

How can you put the ACC champ in, but leave out the team that beat them in the 14th week of the season?
Posted on 12/3/24 at 8:05 am to Lonnie Utah
Oh you know damn well Bama will get in. Those entitled asshats will whine and bitch like a 2 year old until they get their way. They think the frickin world revolves around them. I loathe the whole institution and especially their cuck of a fanbase. Don't even be surprised if they get a home game.

The Bama hangover will let them in South Carolina is much deserving
“Deserving” is such a bullshite word that’s is being thrown around by a bunch of simps. South Carolina is really good, but how are they “deserving?”

You'll get no disagreement on that here. Would be a joke when you add H2H loss at home to resume comparison between Clemson/Carolina. But that's the system.

Pate does a great job at selling himself as non biased when really he just sits on the fence and proclaims himself to be right when it turns out how he thought and ignores the many times he’s been wrong/overemphasized the popular talking point of the day.

And Alabama beat LSU by 30 in red stick while Carolina lost to them at home. And Carolina survived Missouri at home while Alabama won by 34. You are playing stupid arse games. Just say you want your team to get in
Your facts have no place here!

Yes there is. Recency.
I didn't realize that only 1/3 of the season counts now. That must be one of those new criteria from the playoff committee they haven't discussed yet.

Exactly. Take a look at his rant about SEC officiating. He goes from saying it’s a huge problem but the actual officials aren’t to blame. He doesn’t even go after the conference itself. He goes after some faceless deep state of officiating.
