I love how people want to give usc the title when they won the upi but say Alabama doesn't count when they win it.
Ask miami and Washington about their shared title in 91. U don't count Miami's I guess. Maybe nobody wins when they were split?.....or u only don't count Alabama's when they were split is more like it.

The most asinine part of all this is that for many of those there was nothing remotely close to a recognized championship. Writers applied them retroactively. You can't win a championship that doesn't exist.
