LSU didnt become relevant til Saban and despite Bama recent success, I think LSU is like 11-13 vs Bama this century give or take.

Explain to me how this equals 58.2%

your math aint mathing

Ignoring the fact that these records are incorrect in general, a tie counts as half a win and half a loss.

(53 + 3.5) / 97 = 58.2%

True. Though it became an epic run of heated matchups with some of the most talented rosters in the country.

If you polled the fanbase, more than 90% would say the bama game is the most important

What team has LSU played every year since 2000 that has been consistently ranked higher than Alabama? What team has Alabama played every year since 2000 that has been consistently higher ranked than LSU?

Why is it so hard to understand why fans of a team would get excited to play such a big game so late in the season?

BTW, since integration, LSU and Tennessee have virtually identical records vs Alabama (and each other).

Since LSU has this record against Alabama then you would gladly have this layup on your permanent schedule?

Many LSU fans, like myself, don't consider or desire Alabama as a "rivalry".

Ole Miss is LSU's blood and guts rival. Arkansas is also a rival, followed by Florida and A&M.

Alabama? I don't give a rat's arse about them. Now that the playing field in CFB is changing, their best days are FAR behind them.

especially if youd have gone to Auburn

Ha! As much as LSU fricked us over when we were students, I shouldn’t even be a fan. I’m still mad about how they let the students vote on whether the cost of the Union remodel (that we’d never be there to see) would be added to our tuition. We voted overwhelmingly no but then they did it anyway. frickers.

Little known fact: The first 6 SEC football titles went to LSU, Alabama and Tulane.

2nd little known fact: Tennessee, Auburn and LSU were the first SEC teams to win national poll titles in football.

3rd little known fact: Tulane and LSU had the 1st and 2nd largest capacity stadiums in the SEC from 1936-1970.

4th little known fact: Georgia and LSU had the first two Heisman trophy winners in the SEC.

5th little known fact: When the SEC expanded in 1992, LSU had winning records vs all but two SEC teams, Alabama and Tennessee. And was third in all-time wins behind those two.
