Every SWC school was on probation except Arkansas and Rice.
I remember watching ESPN 30 for 30 the Pony Express and Eric Dickerson was butthurt saying Arkansas cheated to.
Well if that was the case then Arkansas would be on probation. Even if Arkansas tried to, the Texas schools would gang up on Arkansas and get Arkansas the death penalty.

Auburns last "infraction" was 31 years ago
Before that 31 YEARS AGO - it was Bryants hobby of getting Auburn charged with nonsense - some of which were clear setups based on what bammers did to go after Auburn
Look again at that time frame!
So all that crap that y'all carried on was Coach Bryant's fault!

In world where buying a kid lunch because he's broke and hungry, and an entire university covering up numerous and ongoing rapes and assaults to the point where it's determined that the entire program fostered a culture of sexual violece against fellow students FOR YEARS both count equally in the NCAAs eyes as "1 major infraction". The number of infractions is an absurdly meaningless metric.
Penn State and Baylor are far and away the worst offenders this century, and probably of all time.
frick anyone who tries to equate those soulless hell bound organizations with a program that buys stuff for its athletes or gives $100 handshakes. There is zero comparison.

Agreed totally. Even before NIL, I never viewed something like, say, boosters buying a player a bunch of frozen steaks and giving him a couple grand the same as covering up years of raping of children and women.
The former is a totally victimless crime, and would probably be viewed as an act of charity if not for the relationship between the two parties and the supposed competitive advantage that it may give, to whatever extent it actually gives one.
The latter, like what happened at Penn State and Baylor, is some of the most morally corrupt shite I’ve ever heard. The two aren’t even close to the same thing.
