Officials gave us 7 points. They saved you at the end with that holding call on Howard, that was pretty ticky tack and behind the play.

Zebras gonna zebra. The facemask was a blown call no doubt about that.

You won. With 326 total yards out gained by 70. But all that matters is the scoreboard and you earned the win, Congrats. Never seen a bunch that whined about winning . And yes I know you have an A by your name but you might as well be Katy Perry LOL.

By the way, nice touch using those Corndogs.

I do stand by my statement that the score was skewed.

Maybe so, but that's the game. If you think Bama's never been robbed by bad calls, you've clearly overblown the REC narrative in your head.

You don't just ignore an outcome because it doesn't suit you. You overcome it. Ole Miss overcame it. Don't take that away from them.

It happened to Miami, SC, and UF. Problems with entitled recruits, loss of coordinators etc start to take a toll on a program. We'll see if Bama can overcome it.

Damn we have the WORST fans. No other team in the world in any sport gives up or exaggerates like Alabama fans after ONE loss.

I have not given up. As I have already said, a national title is still very much within reach. I'm simply pointing out that the days of being feared and crushing everyone are over. We are now just a regular SEC West team. 3 losses in a row to good teams should be humbling Bama fans but it is not. The bitches are the Bama fans who refuse to believe in reality.

I don't believe that's true, atleast not yet.

I agree with several of you points. It doesn't seem that the team plays with much passion. Maybe the program has lost it's hunger. I think you also hit on a point that most of these highly ranked recruits view the team/university as a means to get to their ultimate goal in the shortest period possible and they have little passion for the university/team. They are more talented but they are more self- centered. JMO.

Good post. I think it would be difficult for anyone to look at how we've played over the past two years and say that the passion and intensity are still like they were under Saban's first few years. We have become almost too business-like, and it's hurt the passion of the players and the love of the school they play for.

That's just my opinion, and I'm ready for the flames.

Yep. It's the same thing that happened to USC when they were landing #1 classes every year. Even elite coaches like Saban and Carroll can't convince that much talent year after year to play their absolute best every game. Just like USC, Alabama gradually became more of an NFL factory than a team.

That's true. You have to admit that that play was blatant, happened right in front of the official in the wide open, and most definitely gave bama the upper hand in the game. I give Ole Miss tremendous credit for battling back.

Maybe the West got better? What great teams did we crush in the past excluding NC games?

We've played close games throughout our run.

2011 is the only season we consistently crushed folks. We beat every team that season by 16 points or more.

I admitted that several times in the game thread.

Those were over LAST YEAR when we let Auburn come from behind and beat us, then Oklahoma smoke us in the Sugar bowl.

Who cares about perception of other team's anyways? As long as we play well and execute, that is what really matters.

In short. Grow a fricking back bone.

I mean we had a pretty crucial holding call on us at the end of the game. REC check must've bounced apparently.

Exactly. A loss similar to this one, where we didn't execute well and a great defensive team won the game.

These guys are spoiled brats. Any time we lose they react like this.

Then when we win, they start talking shite to Auburn and other fanbases. They should just shut up. They only support when we're winning.
