but that makes perfect logical sense george, therefore people dont' want to hear it. Kirby clearly attended the coaches clinic on cheating in the summer of 2016 before his first year in Athens, that's obviously where he learned all the tricks of the trade.

Like - you can theoretically argue that he saw how a more low-key operation worked and then realized he could kick it into high gear at UGA........ok, I mean theoretically that makes sense. But the suggestion that he was working in a totally clean system and then got to UGA and magically was the best bagman/cheater in the world is just ridiculous.

You must have a short memory. We almost got ended over that stuff and the rest of the conference would gladly finish the job.

I don't recall mentioning an "elite web of bagmen". That would be stupid to have such a thing. The more people in on something, the more likely the wrong people will find out.

I vividly remember it. We were acting like drunken idiots loudly and in view of everyone. Others were cheating too, just not as loudly and idiotically, and so we got plastered while they got nothing. I'm not sure what that has to do with what I just posted at all.

Again, not sure what that has to do with it either. Ok, so Kirby has one elite bagman who does the work. The point wasn't the logistics of the operation, it was the notion that Kirby went from cheating novice to the best cheater in America overnight.

This is one Bama fan who doesn't give a rats arse what Smart signs. Why? Coz
Smart isn't smart enough to beat Saban.
Hell, I'd bet Kiffin will before Kirby
Lol.

Open a thread started by pup because his team is coached by Richt 2.0 and needs some kind of validation for his existence since they are on the same crash course as they were with the previous HC. Now LSU patricia and the little girl willa have chimed in.

Got to love the Rant. It has to be the best entertainment on the web.

To all LSU posters keep up the good work

claiming UGA is throwing around stacks of cash, which is complete nonsense.

I’m not going to say it’s true, but I have heard the rumors. Especially about a WR you got last year. Even heard the amount he got. I do think it is more “open season” right now.

But anybody from bama claiming anyone else is cheating is hysterical. Their players from back in the 60’s and 70’s openly talk about it. I think the only times they have been clean were under Curry and Shula. Stallings wanted to be clean, but the REC did everything behind his back.

Along with everybody else in college football. The intensity of it shifts based on the staff and the directives sent down on high as to what is acceptable or not acceptable, but every real program in the country does it at some level or another.

It only becomes an issue when schools start signing kids that make zero sense (Ole Miss) and are sloppy (Ole Miss). I don't think it's coincidence that Alabama was a rogue machine with no captain and was caught at the same time that a bumbling idiot with no management skills like Mike DuBose was in charge.

Neil Callaway was actually pulling the strings, but, you're right, Mike was totally out of his element as Alabama's HC.

The ironic thing is Alabama has the #2 class. What's there to be upset about. Even if we pass Bama or Clemson in the rankings, is it really that much of a big deal? The difference between all three classes is absolutely negligible.

I'm not following what you're saying. I totally agree that there's very little difference in the top 3 recruiting classes when it comes to insuring future success..not sure who you feel is upset.

Bro theres proof in our faces every where people are cheating some just dont like to open their eyes. Take Tua for example, whole family uproots and moves to Tuscaloosa. What could make that possible.

Well in their case they probably netted $150-200K on swapping houses alone in moving from one of the most expensive places in the world to one of the cheapest. It actually does make some sense.

But yes, to your general point, agree.
