I think Bama has a good shot to get in. Inexplicably Fresno St appears in the rankings at 9-3. Really? I can't imagine why? The committee is setting it up in hopes of getting in 2 SEC teams. Not that it's a surprise considering they're partnered with espn.
That said I don't think THIS Bama team will win it all. But a shot at is pretty likely and kinda lame IMO.

Iowa State is not a bad team this season. It was a one score game.
If I wanted to be a **** I 'd say Bama's loss was more convincing and in the last game of the season. Not a good look. But, I was agreeing with OP. I do think Bama has a good shot if OU or Wisc loses.
I'm not complaining, I'm just commenting. The committee is biased. I don't think Alabama is one of the top 4 teams, that's my opinion. I don't mind being #3 currently. I think there is a good chance this committee will drop OU to #4 next weekend even if the Sooners win. This is fine. Keep up the disrespect,,, it's fueling us.

I mean, it's not really inexplicable. Boise State was ranked #23 last rank (at 9-2) and Fresno State beat them by 11. Fresno won at 10-2 San Diego State by 24 earlier in the year. They have 3 losses and 2 of them were to Alabama and Washington.
Fresno will either beat Boise State again on the road this weekend and 100% deserve to be ranked or lose and drop out.
