Well you're letting your moldy vagina bleed all over this thread about an ACC team so it really wasn't that obvious. So you think the ACC is equal to the SEC in terms of talent, coaching, and overall quality of the football programs in the respective conferences? I mean you must if you think that there needs to be no inquiry beyond record.
Nope
I think if Alabama had dominated every game this year, but lost to Texas and then beat Georgia in the SECCG, then there is an ARGUMENT to put Bama in. But they didn’t.
There is zero argument to put in a one loss team with a:
14 point win over 6-6 USF
6 point win over 7-5 A&M
3 point win over 4-8 Arkansas
3 point win over 6-6 Auburn
All of those wins (except USF) were with Alabama’s
STARTING QB and are still worse results than beating 10-2 Louisville with a third string
Like the logic genuinely makes zero since. None

Just because you cant comprehend something doesnt mean it makes no sense.
Then you go and cherrypick games again.

To a team with some really bad wins, but ZERO losses It’s just not even a comparison
Ole Miss would be undefeated with it, a 2 loss team in the SEC.
They tried to schedule a good team by putting LSU on their schedule, they had Clemson on it. You both let them down.
Then they let themselves down by looking bad when it mattered most.

Tell me you are talking about a game you clearly didn’t watch without telling me.
Arkansas scored a TD on a long clock killing drive with like 2 minutes left in the game to make it look close but that game was never really in doubt.
It was also a 12am kick that Bama was up 21-6 at halftime and it was obvious the boys were sleepwalking through the 2nd half.

Let me play, let me play !
LSU was clearly better than Florida State ( favored by 2.5 )

You’re literally proving my point? The team people think is better doesn’t always win. That was my whole point and you just proved it. Lmfao

So 12-1 against a top 5 SoS means style points come into play, but 13-0 against a 50+ SoS means a win is a win? Again, if a win is a win and we aren't paying attention to who those wins were against because undefeated, why aren't you up in arms over Liberty?

FSU was getting jumped by Texas anyway. If UGA had won, UGA , UM, UW, and UT would be the 4…. It is what it is

No, that’s what we think would have happened logically. It’s not what actually would have happened. Texas would have been out and FSU would have been in. This only happened because it’s Alabama

Well the numbers and the selection show say differently. They could have put FSU in still if they wanted … they didn’t . it will be ok

You honestly think they put a 1 loss Texas team in over undefeated FSU? The only reason Texas even got a look was because Alabama won, meaning that with the same # of losses as Alabama, and having beaten them directly, Texas had to be in.
Texas doesn’t even sniff the playoff if Georgia wins

Dude I obviously meant if Georgia won. But sure ignore the whole reply instead

You’re referencing betting lines, not “the better team” Washington beat Oregon. However, Oregon was still “favored” in the rematch. I thought they “showed it on the field” the first time
Posted on 12/4/23 at 6:43 am to Cryptonbarton
I’m not sure what you think betting lines consist of, but it’s generally how Vegas thinks they can get the most bets, which means the line is set pretty close to where the average person thinks the game is gonna go.
So yes, who people think is the better team
Are we gonna be revisionist now and say people didn’t expect Oregon to beat Washington, or Alabama to beat Texas, or Michigan to beat TCU?

Fsu is basically Iowa without Travis in there. Georgia gonna destroy them.
