In the four games Miller missed, Alabama averaged 92 yards rushing per game. And that number was padded against La-Monroe, 212 of their total 358 rushing yards came against them. They rushed for less than 88 yards per game in the other three. Alabama lost two of the four games he missed
With Jam Miller they averaged 127 yards per game, including 117 against Georgia in game one. They went 8-1 when he started.
Alabama was not great rushing the ball. But without Miller they couldn’t run it.
Losing Justice Haynes and Roydell Williams was a real blow to Alabama.

Injuries are what playing a SEC schedule means. That’s how lower level conferences have ALWAYS been able to compete against the SEC. There is a reason 6 original SEC teams are among the top 20 all time
Wins list. It just means more when you do not play a 2 game season.
