That's pretty dumb, but I guess if you're a program like Clemson you gotta do what you gotta do.

I mean I know we Bama fans give Auburn shite for different stuff but this has surpassed them 100 fold.

Clemson should only put markers for ranked teams that are good? Not ranked teams that suck? Dabo should probably ask the opposing coach beforehand if they're really good, or just ranked because they're in the SEC.

Or you could just use a little common sense and wait to the end of the year and judge that beating a 3-9 was, in fact, not a win to be memorialized.

This thread didn't go the way you thought it would did it?

You and Clemson are trying wayyyyy too hard.

Is there an ACC forum that may be more fitting for you?

I think the whole tombstone thing is lame. The fact that they put in lame Peach Bowl wins just makes it more lamer! I could see Bama doing an entire graveyard with their 24 National Championships...but not this.

Regular season wins in that cemetery? How pathetic.

I know the job of an sec ranter is to shite on every other program and be fricking angry at the world, but this is actually a pretty cool tradition.

I am a big fan of many traditions at many different places. I think the Sod Cemetary for underdog wins at FSU is pretty cool (especially because it is directly linked with the idea of playing anybody anywhere that sparked their entire program). Putting in all bowl games is kinda lame, but the overall idea and history behind it is cool. This one, if only for truly big wins, would be ok as well.

Tombstones for wins against 3-9 Auburn teams and Russell Athletic Bowl wins is lame.

whole thing is dumb. I hope this pre-dates Dabo, b/c he should know better. Clemson hasn't caused the "death" of any program. Did Bama put up a Clemson tombstone after the national championship game last year? Was Clemson dead then? Did LSU die after the national championship game on 1/9/12? Well...maybe that example isn't quite as good

Is Bama's program dirtier than Ole Miss? Is Bama the slimiest program in the country? Yes.

This is what LSU fans are reduced to. This is what 21-0 and 6 straight has caused. Nevermind you've been dominated historically by Bama in the W/L column. Forget that Bama has nearly 3X the SEC Championships and 5X the national championships as LSU. Forget what history and our eyes tell us. The ONLY possible reason Bama could be better than LSU is due to being "dirty" and "slimy".

If we had a tombstone for every win in program history over a ranked team away from Bryant-Denny it would look something like this.
