Tf are you talking about? The state of Alabama is beautiful. Has some nice beaches, mountains and lakes. Good fishing and hunting also.

I’ll never understand people’s take here on the state being bad just because you dislike the Tide or Auburn. Grow up.

In fairness, it’s still early in the year. Imagine the number of murders if they actually win a game or two.

I've lived all over the country and can tell you for a fact that Bama is a national brand. I live in California now where college football isn't a huge deal, but no one, from the Bay area to San Diego gives a shite about LSU or has even heard of Auburn. Most know who Bama is and have even met some fans who have never set foot in the state of Alabama. People love winners.

Apparently some people like living there.

Huntsville/ Madison was ranked #1 place to live in the US 2022-23 by US News & World Report.

The same source that ranks college & universities that everyone quote.

It is consistently ranked in the top 10 in any those rankings similar to that.

As a Georgian I bag on Alabama as much as the next guy. My wife and I were both born there and fact is, I wish more of America were like AL. People generally don’t take themselves too seriously, lots of good farmland and forrest.

Like everywhere in the south if it were more hardworking agrarian and less white trash meth head that would be great. But I’m a rural apologist.

Alabama fans are given to hubris and the idea that AL is the cornerstone of the SEC is humorous but hey, UGA grads and Athenians are pretty smug too, just about different things.

Does it matter if you don’t have them when your own fanbase makes excuses for murderers in the same manner as Latoya?

Trust me you would bust your left nut to get property on Baldwin County’s Gulf Coast. That place rocks, I see more SEC out of state tags than local tags. Alabama Beaches are not to shabby.

I’ve been in Birmingham for some time now. It’s exceeded my expectations and is a very nice place to live - minimal traffic, great restaurants and overall plenty of entertainment while having unique pockets of the city that have their own little vibe going on. They have some of the best beaches in the country and Huntsville is a fun town as well.

Enjoy watching Democrats run your state into the ground. At least you have some nice mountains there.
