You're the one posting about Bediako. Now post the rule.

Alabama was not sued because Bediako played months before this specific SEC policy existed, under a temporary order in his case against the NCAA. Sankey opposed his eligibility, and when the court denied further protection, Alabama stopped playing him. What exactly was the SEC supposed to sue Alabama for at that point?

It’s amazing the reason that can be seen on that situation, but when you apply that same reason to LSU and the current situation, you realize LSU never rostered those boys and violated zero, exactly zero, rules.

So all this nonsense about lack of institutional control are exactly that - nonsense.

You finally stumbled onto one accurate point. LSU did not place them on the final roster, so the SEC imposed no roster violation penalty. The amended complaint openly says that. Nobody is claiming they played an ineligible player.

The institutional control issue is about everything leading up to LSU backing down. Kiffin recruited the former professionals, brought them into team activities, publicly fought the SEC’s position and left two roster spots open while LSU’s president and athletic director stayed silent. The SEC alleges the administration could not or would not control its coach.

LSU stopped only after the SEC threatened massive penalties and possible expulsion. You are pretending that backing down at the last minute proves there was never a problem. It proves the pressure worked. LSU walked right up to the line, heard the consequences, dropped to one knee and then sent you out here to brag that it technically never crossed.

Just curious, do you think the SEC might have some evidence? I’m not saying they do. But for Sankey and the rest of the SEC to be pushing so hard they might have some evidence of wrongdoing.

Because you couldn’t stand the thought of LSU doing the same thing you did. So you had to roll of your mom, go to Sanky’s office and crawl under his desk to get the rule. It’s only ok when do it. This all started at LSU months before August 25th too

Are you this ignorant or just being intentionally obtuse?

i'd like to ask you the same question.

because 1) LSU has not broken any rules that the SEC put in place

and 2) you're going to go off the rule the SEC made last week NOW, when all you hear anyone saying during any of this is, we've never been able to, nor have we been allowed to bring back pro athletes.

and you ask us if we're being obtuse....pick and choose the facts for your narrative.

This is incorrect. It was always an SEC policy and only issued enhanced guidance.

We'll see who lasts longer in this conference, LSU or Stankey. That bitch has lost institutional control of the SEC with his selective enforcement and poorly thought out rules. He didn't even define what an NFL contract is.(there are multiple)

No clue. I haven't read it (maybe that makes me qualified to be SEC commissioner). I'm just reiterating what the SEC told the judge in court.

So this is a new rule that pro players can't play in college?
