Better than 21-19, IMO.

Don't be like Aggy. Bama owns us right now. Let's try beating them for a change.

Yet again, Bama proves to have killer instinct and finishes off LSU in Tiger Stadium "where opponents dreams go to die".

14-13 Arkansas

This was a weird game. Tide sleep walking after loss to Ole Miss and, understandably taking Arky lightly after having beaten them 104-0 in the two previous games. What was the LSU score vs Arky?

Uh, Bama was up by 19 with like 4 or 5 minutes to go. That game wasn't "decided" with less than 5 left. It was over. Final score made look closer than it really was. What was LSU's score against AU last year?

Bama was up by 12 with :15 seconds left when MSU scored to make it look closer than it was. What was LSU's score against MSU last year?

I don't get this from the LSU fanbase. These games are almost always close and always great games that are fun to watch. Both coaches pull out all the stops for this one. Each coach has the respect to schedule their bye week prior to this game anually. Neither one of these teams will demolish the other, because they are each built to beat the other. Both teams will be lathered up and spicy.

What UGA did was completely melt. Cannot comprehend why Richt made the qb change there. Was also hoping to see Sony Michelle attack the edges of that front 7, which he didn't. It was very curious the way UGA attacked that defense. Still bewildered with the number of bad decisions that were made in that game. Talent wise and ability wise those teams are closer than the final score projected.

Any LSU or Bama fan who does not see the other as a legitimate threat is an idiot.
Unless Bama loses to ATM, the game will decide the west, as it should.

Come on man, they looked damn good and were already fortunate to match up really well against us in what looked to be a down year for them and a solid year for us. Just making low hanging fruit for all their mouthbreathers on here.

I did not say UGA sucks. I said they are undisciplined, and underachieving, which usually are implications of a team with potential. UGA's coaches are ill-equipped and unable to prepare players for big games. So it should come as no surprise that Bama, which thrives on mental discipline, beat UGA.

You conveniently left off the 59-0 TAMU score . Truth is Bama is better on defense this year--stats are skewed as we have played 3 top 25 teams while most teams like LSU haven't played anyone yet. Offense is really about the same. Biggest difference is we don't have Coop at WR, but our OL is better, Henry is better and Ridley could turn into a star and make Coker's job a lot easier. Bama may drop another game this year but it won't be more than that, this is a very solid team as long as they aren't giving away 5 turnovers in a game.

I can understand media and analysts outside of the SEC fapping to Bama reestablishing their footing, but most of you here should know better than this. The affirmation of UGA as the same old undisciplined, unable-to-win-big-games, most underachieving SEC program, should not surprise us. Especially at the hands of Bama.

Let's take a look at what really matters, at least for Bama fans: the SECWest. Last year, with the exception of those weirdos in our division, Bama won the west with the following scores:
27-20 LSU (OT)
14-13 Arkansas
55-44 Auburn
25-20 State
13-20 Ole Miss (loss)

All of those games were decided in the 4th quarter, with less than 5 minutes left.
And Bama's offense is nothing close to what it was last year. Their defense is already statically worse than last year. And again, it maddens me

Bama played 2 teams that are in the top 25 and loss to one of them.

If you are counting Wisconsin then you have to count Auburn and Miss St and your argument is still invalid. Bama has a great team, as they always do. I think this year's team isn't quite as good as years past, but they may still get better and that doesn't mean they can't win it all. Honestly though I don't think the OP was trying to say Bama was not good or less than anything. I think he was just pointing out that it was foolish for the pundits to think that Bama would not beat UGA. I said that all week. You never count them out.

I alluded to that score. Everyone knows what happened. But I didn't want to get into a pissing match about A&M only for Aggies to hijack a thread and make it about them.

Look. All I'm saying is that Bama should know by now, that they will play 3 to 4 teams mentally tougher than UGA from the West, every year. It should come as no surprise that UGA was unprepared for what Bama did to them.

You know, there are LSU fans that cry after the EMU game because Les Miles didn't score another TD with one minute left, and the ball on the 2-yard line. They cry because Leonard Fournette had to sit on 233 yards rushing, and not break the record. They don't understand the small things that a coach does, like this, keeps players hungry, builds their character, increases their mental toughness. Saban shows a similar approach.

But these teams that run up the score, instead of trying to work on their weaknesses when the game is over, or the teams that leave their star running back in the game to break records, instead of letting others get valuable reps, it's indicative of teams that have no mental discipline, and coaches don't see the need for it, or just don't know how to do it.

Then you run into a team like Bama, who specializes on out-thinking you, the final score is 38-10

So sad that Ethan's having to live through LSU because Auburn is so inept on the football field this season.

UGA was undefeated and favored. Hindsight is 20/20, but UGA had looked pretty good.

In any event, the reaction isn't just to "beating" UGA. Bama body-slammed them in their own house. A very talented UGA team was dominated. Tell me you wouldn't be similarly impressed if someone came into Death Valley and did that to y'all this season. The talent level between y'all and UGA isn't significantly different, and the coaching is a wash.

It's not. I thought that after they lost to ole miss

5 turnovers and they still had 2 chances at the end to win it. They have a track record of doing this

Did it last year to the same exact team and ended up in the playoffs

Did it to Aggies one year and won it all
Did it to lsu one year and won it all

Thems be the breaks sometimes

To be honest, I dont think LSU, UF, Bama, Ole miss, or A&M are very special. The SEC lacks a true great team. All these teams will end up with multiple losses IMHO
