Their offense was way ahead of their defense early on but now their defense is playing really well. We have a solid defense that's also gotten better but unless our offense has something they've been saving for Bama, it could be a shutout.

I'd just like to get a couple of scores, a TD and FG (naturally I'd like a lot more) but being realistic, I'd like to drive the ball enough to stay out of Bama always having great field position.

Our punting is like flipping a damn coin, could be 45 yards or could be 33 yards with a 14 yard return lol. That crap has hurt us all season. Therefore if we must punt, I pray it's from beyond our own 40. Hell, I'll take it from our own 35.

Don't see us putting 20 on Bama. If we did then that would mean our offense has success moving the ball and with our defense Bama would not score 42.

If State wins this game then the score was 17-14. I'd love to see but I just don't think likely.

So if you still had Mullen would it be better or worst?

There is no way of knowing since we have a new coaching staff and new schemes etc take time. Yeah, Mullen might have an advantage over Moorhead because the offense knew his schemes inside and out but we've had 9 games to adapt to Moorhead so who knows.

State’s defense is the best in the SEC. I seriously doubt you score 50.

MSU may not score at all. I'm calling it 42-6 Alabama.

I actually agree with you on this. However, if our offense can't do shite and Bama keeps getting a short field, they are going to score plenty. With a solid defense like we have, we must make them work the field from 60-65 yards back. That is where we have done a great job.

Bama offense is unstoppable. They have the best offensive line in college football, Tua is the best quarterback in the country, elite run game, and that damn Jerry Juedy is a bad mutha fricka.
