I saw posted elsewhere last night that Les has to congratulate his team for outplaying bama, then apologize for costing them the game. I thought that comment fit the situation.

No it's not. If Mettenberger played Auburn like he played Bama. They would have beaten AU by 40+ points.
ETA: Not to mention that LSU's line has gelled much more since AU game.

Do you think bama would want to play LSU for the bcs? I don't think so! That is what sucked about last year.

HUH???? I don't know ANY Bama fans that believe that. We had a house full of die hard Bama fans ready to through all 4 televisions into the lake last night, and NONE of us believe Bama could give any NFL team a game.

Unfortunately you lost to UF so that isn't an issue. Otherwise you would be my choice to play if we both won out. That is the difference between your fans and ours. We want to play the best....you wanted to play someone you knew you could beat.

I haven't seen anyone disrespecting us other than saying our secondary is weak when it isn't. They just played off of their game in a tough environment against an offense that was on their game.
