Corndogs will never understand the pageantry & tradition of a rivalry game like UT and the gumps.

Mediocracy, like Karma, is a bitch........................
Get used to it, it's why Saban left. Couldn't be the only kid on the block to buy his team anymore so it was no longer fun. He's as much as said it. But cheer up, you'll only lose a couple more this year so it'll be ok.

I don't mean this as disrespect to Auburn because it's not the intent, but losing to Auburn is like losing to your younger brother. When brothers fight enough, eventually the younger sibling is going to catch you and knock you for a loop. It happens.
Losing to Tennessee is like losing a scrap to that kid on the block you've hated your entire life. When he kicks your arse you want revenge. You want his blood. You both hate each other with a passion and anything but winning is like a good kick in the face with a golf shoe, it leaves it's mark.
Frick Tennessee.

Not if you keep paying $8 million while taking the NCAA to court for QB play like that.

Shut up, I'm busy with the fans of teams that can actually beat Alabama.

It's fine, I expect you to pick the reality that makes you happiest. That's what losers do.

Bear regarded it our biggest rivalry. I became a fan under his tenure. Then Full Philmer added to the hatred with his ratting us out to the NCAA

Serious question, what makes the TSIO so special? The rivalry is tilted in Alabama’s favor and is filled really with so many long steaks of one team dominating. It really isn’t back and forth. Is it more for the older fans? Do younger fans really care? Does it compare to the Iron Bowl? It seems like that game, at least for Alabama fans, has more juice. I’m not sure if UT has any other rival (Kentucky, Florida or Vanderbilt) that would come close. Does the game mean more to UT fans than Alabama fans?
The rivalry is pretty unique because you get lots of built up intensity due to the streaks. I remember when Bama beat UT in 05 after a long UT win streak. It was the best football game ive ever been to. After the game, the streets on University closed and it just became a huge block party.
The rivalry did lose its luster during the Saban years. If we are being real, Saban only ever faced one good UT team. Its back to 100% now

Very well put.

And I'm done talking to the fan of a washed-up team that can't beat Vander-freakun-bilt.....loser.
Oh, and before you fire back....keep in mind, we rebounded from our Bama loss and beat the #1 team in the nation in their stadium. You followed up your big win against UGA with 2 embarrassing losses. That's the current difference in our programs, we're going in one direction, Bama is going in the other.

You're at the top of the list of teams that couldn't beat Alabama the same year Vandy and Tennessee did.
South Carolina kept it closer.
Congrats.
