It's not SOS; fair or not, it is SOR (strength of reputation)
Bama (maybe more so, Saban) will get the benefit of the doubt when all other things are considered.
That said, Bama is on outside looking in for any P5 conference champ with same W-L record. That is the one precedent the committee has kept.

Arkansas averages 480 yard a game - was 4-0 with some pretty impressive wins vs Texas and Texas A&M where their defense played stout and they mixed a good run/pass game to keep teams off balance.
Georgia blows them out and holds them to 164 yards and no points and now Arkansas can’t pass and can only run the football.
Never change Bama fans - ignorant fricks

And the committee is 100% influenced by the media and they’ve been on our dick all season
If both teams go 12-0 and it’s a close game in Atlanta someone else is getting knocked out of a spot.
Cincy has a weak SOS and plays in the G5
The B1G winner will likely get the 2 spot assuming they go undefeated
Oklahoma looks shaky but should go 12-0

An undefeated Cinncy will get in because it beat one ranked opponent ND. Kentucky could probably beat ND!

You are fn stupid on both Tiger Rant and SEC Rant. You are consistent I guess.
1.BAMA/UGA winner
2.BIG 10 Champ
3 BAMA/UGA loser
4. Cincy
They will want that rematch for the national championship.

Both would go in that scenario, so long as a P5 conference with same record doesn't get left out. Those are facts.

Aggies are really going to destroy Bama's SOS. Kentucky in the east looked impressive, would like to see how they fare with Ga.

As much as I rooted for Cinci yesterday, they don’t have a single ranked team left on their schedule. Maybe one squeaks into the top 25 at the end of the year there, but as other teams start beating ranked teams they’ll eventually pass Cinci by. Cinci very well may be a top 5 team but only 4 get to go and they’ll put in two SEC teams if it’s between Bama or UGA and Cinci

If they go the SECCG undefeated and it plays close both will get in

If Alabama and Georgia are both 12-0 entering the SECCG, they will both make the playoffs. ACC’s undefeated teams will not stay that way. The Big Ten is going to beat itself up. The Pac-12 is already in bad shape with Oregon dropping a game.
It is a big if but if they’re both 12-0, they are both in.

Also, Notre Dame is not very good and will probably end up with a few more losses. That win is going to lose some luster.

To be fair, the A&M win looks less impressive now

It may not be fair but Alabama has a reputation that cashes out for more value than any team’s strength of schedule. Vegas almost never has Saban’s Alabama as a dog since it got rolling in 2008. The committee probably has the same feeling when making these analyses.
That’s what success and backing it up does for you.

I'm gonna lose my mind if this is the year we win the big 12 and we don't get in

Wake Forest is going undefeated and will make the playoffs.

The team to watch is not cincy
If byu runs table they have a legit shot
Go look at their schedule it is littered with power 5 and easily more impressive than cincy’s

Unless more undefeated teams lose, an undefeated Big Ten team is in, so is the Big Twelve team, and the Cincinnati Bearcats. I'm not saying that's fair, Ga and Alabama should be 1. and 2 at the end of the season.
4 more top 10 teams lost this weekend. You are an idiot that watches no college football. This is the type of year ready-made for 2 SEC teams.

Why? Your administration has already implicitly stated that the Big-12 is not a championship caliber conference this Summer.
