I did. So you're telling me that before expansion UGA was due to rotate onto Bama's '13 schedule and UK was due to rotate onto LSU's '13 schedule? Is that what you're saying?
What I'm saying is that Georgia was the next team to rotate onto Alabama's schedule when expansion broke up the old scheduling system. Somehow that home and home magically went away.
LSU was in the middle of a home and home with Kentucky when expansion happened. Suddenly the second half of that home and home magically went away.
Now you fast forward to 2013, and those games have been skipped. Replaced instead by the SEC deciding to actually switch those two.
And we're supposed to believe this is all just a coincidence.

SEC got free reign and LSU got USC and Florida [2012] and then Georgia and Florida [2013] and Alabama gets Tennessee and Missouri [2012] and then Tennessee and Kentucky [2013]

True

Magically? The SEC went from 12 teams to 14 teams while maintaining 8 conference games. Every single team had games that magically disappeared.

I'm sorry. That must have been so difficult for you. Bama was in the middle of a home and home with Vandy. The 2nd half also magically went away.

The 2nd half of the Bama-Vandy and LSU-UK games were skipped because both teams added A&M to the schedule. USC was due to rotate onto LSU's schedule in '12 and did. UGA was due to rotate onto Bama's schedule and didn't because Mizzou was added to Bama's '12 schedule.
In '13, UK was due to rotate onto Bama's schedule and will. UGA was due to rotate onto LSU's schedule and will.

No, there is a logic behind it. They tried to change as few things as possible from the original schedule but obviously some things had to change with the addition of 2 extra teams.
Like I said in my first post, UGA and UK were the teams that were originally scheduled to rotate onto LSU and Bama's '13 schedules prior to expansion.

Conspiracy or not, the 8-game conference schedule with cross-division permanent rivals doesn't work and needs to change. We need to end the permanent rivals and go to 9 games.

With no regard at all for competitive balance apparently. Bama gets Missou-UT one year and UK-UT the next.

A&M has the most favorable schedule in the league next year so I really don't think him being a Bama alum is that big a deal.
A&M draws Vandy and Mizzu from the East and Bama at home. LSU is our only truly imposing road game. We'll likely be double-digit favorites in 10 of our 12 games.

sarc - you conveniently fail to mention that Florida also was magically from your schedule this season and next year.
Bama dodged Florida and Georgia. Played them both in '08 and '09.
Womack made 'em disappear. Smoke and mirrors dynasty.

It's funny how Lsu tries to act like one of the big boys when Bama is clearly running shite alone at the top.
I don't really have a dog in this hunt, but if Les Miles doesn't go full retard on Nov. 3, LSU wins by 10 points minimum.
I don't get your point.

Bama played Florida regular season in '10 and '11. Are you saying we should've played them 3 years in a row?

Well they can't frick everybody over and they probably didn't expect A&M to be any good

LSU, A&M and Bama all go 5-1 in the west and beat each other.
LSU and A&M play Florida
Bans plays Missou
Guess who goes to Atlanta?

No, I don't think they were particularly concerned with competitive balance. They tried to stay as close to the original schedules as possible. It's very difficult to try to balance schedules based off predictions on who will be good and who won't be. Florida and A&M were .500 teams last year. Not many predicted them to be as good this year as they turned out to be.

The east and west divisions are large enough that the cross-divisional/OOC games should not matter (except as a tie breaker?) in determining which SEC-west team goes to the SECCG. That fixes all of it, IMO.

well you can't beat bama, or let them beat you. you can directly go to two very recent occurences to see that.
reminds me of a religious state school still preaching Jesus when they're throwing the ball up 60-0. they can justify it every time...

How can you scream for competitive balance and have scheduling consistency? Florida and Texas A&M didn't have high expectations coming into 2012. Missouri was actually the better of the three in 2011. This is never going to work under a 8 game SEC schedule with 14 conference teams. The 9 game SEC schedule is the only remedy.

And surprise surpass guess who the beneficiary is. The same school who seems to have an awful lot of graduates working in the SEC office. And you wonder why we're skeptical about the integrity of the process?

Again, there's a rational explanation which I've laid out several times as to how the '12 and '13 schedules were generated but if you're bound and determined to believe that there was something untoward behind it, then I guess that's your right.

The 4-pod SEC will be the best the system has ever been done, IMO.
