I mean...hell...before the season started everyone was saying that there was no way Alabama gets through the season without at least 2 losses because of the toughness of its schedule. shite happens. Teams turned out to be weaker than originally thought.

When your only response is "you're scared". It gives the impression that you don't have a real response.

Remember before the season when we all thought LSU was a legit top dog in the SEC?

We run this shite alone and we're not going anywhere for a looooooooooooooong time.

Why don't you respond to my question? Please explain to me how Womack was able to get this schedule by everyone without unanimous approval from the university presidents and athletic directors.

Gotta love how the hog rushes into this thread to take a shot at LSU and subsequently praise Alabama, only to receive a back-handed co-sign from a gump.

bullshite. If we had played Missou and you had played Florida there's a good chance we'd be in Miami right now. Don't act like this shite doesn't matter. And to pretend that having an alum of a school making the schedule isn't a conflict of interest is just pathetic.

Can you please explain to me how a well-known Alabama alum was able to slip this schedule by everyone without unanimous approval?

Can't wait until Steve Shaw starts refereeing all of the Bama conference games. Then the conspiracy will be complete!!

BTW, as was discussed in several of the other melt threads on this topic earlier today (all started by LSU fans of course,) the op isn't true.

LINK

quote:

SEC Digital Network: Who was involved in putting together the 2013 SEC conference football schedule and what additional groups had input?

Mark Womack: “It was a cooperative effort from all of our athletic directors to take the schedule and try to work through it, along with Larry Templeton and Mark Whitworth in our office. We use a scheduling group outside the office from a computer standpoint of trying to generate some things for us. At the end of the day, the cooperation of each athletic director in trying to make this work is vitally important.”

SEC Digital Network: You mentioned the computer group that assists you with scheduling; how does that process work?

Mark Womack: “They run different versions of what we give them as far as we’d like to keep certain games on certain dates and other parameters. They will produce the rotation of schedules and how that would work over a 12-year period. They can also assist us in trying to tell us whether, mathematically, we can do something or not. They will tell us that these games would fit in or there’s no way to schedule what we want to schedule.”

Sounds like a collaborative process with plenty of oversight to me, but please, continue with the tears. Feels good to let it out sometimes.

Yeaaahhh, see, we wouldn't lose to Florida like LSU did, so we'd have the tiebreaker.
