You guys are nuts. You have to give Grant TIME. It took him a couple of years to turn around VCU.
VCU became a perennial NCAA tournament team under Grant. He has a 118-52 record as HC.
Remember, Bama has a national perception as a football school. It takes TIME to turn that around.
Your roster right now is of a defensive make-up. Give Grant a couple of years to bring in some good offensive guys.

I'm fine with Grant. Offensively though we need some new ideas. Maybe a new assistant? I don't know.
I've been a bit over the top in my criticism. But I had such high expectations this year (I was basically waiting for football to end so basketball could really get going) so this is all a bit depressing.
We're still top 25 RPI. A long way to go.

i think many bama fans look at the quick turnaround by saban and they expect the same thing from grant.

We just need more home games
. Atleast CAG owns Stansbury................

this would all look a bit better if that motherfricker from Georgetown didn't make that shot.
Granted, they probably deserved the win.

I think Grant is a fine coach and I know he's a huge upgrade over gottfried but it's year 3 and we still can't score. We also can't win a big game. Everyone needs a fire lit under their arse.

No one gives a shite about the Alabama-Auburn basketball rivalry. At least I don't.
I'd rather beat MSU who's relatively competent in spite of StansTrooper.
I don't even know what that last part really means.

With all due respect, last year we won when we had to with the exception of on the road @ florida when we were way outmatched, and in the GA Dome vs Kentucky. I wanna see how SEC pans out

It is not just the freshmen. Whole team is turning the ball over and committing stupid fouls. K-State is a very mediocre team. But you can't have 20 turnovers, put them at the line for 30 free throws, get outrebounded and expect to beat them on the road.
Freshmen were definitely overrated and have trouble scoring. Lacey's shot looks like a knuckleball. Green and Mitchell are working on their professional resumes, priorities are misplaced. Grant hasn't settled on a line-up.
Sadly, we miss Chris Hines and Senario Hillman. They played far better than have these highly touted freshmen.

I don't. I just want some consistency. Lookn great one night and then lookn like shite the next night won't cut it. And for me, at this point, that's more on the players than Grant. I'm assuming they haven't forgotten how to play basketball.

Our big wins last year were at home against UK and on the road against MSU. That's nothing to really write home about. Rarely do we look competent against a decent team away from Coleman. This game was just another example of that.

I cant argue with that

And I'm gonna put that on our staff even though they can't make the plays for our guys. They look mentally weak. It's the coach's job to make them tough though.

Yeah, bad thing is we really wont know after next game if we've improved all that much since its pretty much a home game. We need to be an angry, pissed off team, but we are soft.

Give Grant all the time he needs. He'll eventually turn it around, I have no doubt. Probably needs at least 2 more years.

Yeah. I'll be ungodly pissed if we don't look like a hungry team Wednesday. I also hope they only get like a two day break for Christmas. They don't deserve getting to see their family
