When is the last time Arky has beat Bama and LSU in the same year?

We were 6-6 that year

I have Arky beating Bama next year. If our young secondary does better than I expect early, we'll win there. I expect them to be playing pretty well by season's end, but it's a question at least for me how fast that's going to happen.

LSU is going to be a tough out for anyone, if they get any kind of QB play at all, they should sweep Bama/Arky. If their QB play isn't good, they could go 0-2 there.

depends, to compete against Bama we need a true road test early on like a Michigan, Penn State, Okie State, Boise State.

The only problem is none of them want to play us in Jerry World. They are all scared. Except Boise and then they want us to come to their place the following year which will not happen.

IDK, we played JJ against both, and I don't see how ANYTHING could be worse than that invalid. I suspect LSU will have a top 5 defense in all major categories next year which will definitely help.

I'm more concerned with Bama (even with its losses) than I am Arky. Not sure why.

I'm a lot more comfortable with Bama on a Saturday night in TS than going on the road to Arkansas. I honestly think both teams will be undefeated leading up to that game. We better bring our A game to both or will get embarassed

Arkansas goes 10-2 next season, IMO.

11-1 not out of the question.

LOL! I guess Michigan isn't scared to play the National Champions, but, scared to play the mighty Hogs!

We can't worry about Bama and LSU, all we can do is try to build a team to be the best it can be.

Most likely, Bama and LSU will be very good on an annual basis (maybe an aberration here and there), so even when we get the program built to where it needs to be (we are not quite there yet, defense has to get better) it will be a dogfight every year.

I have great hopes that Haynes will get the D playing much better, in the short time he worked with them before the Cotton Bowl we saw some definite improvement. Just add a few more stud players and we are there.

As for next year, I believe we have a shot since both games are at home. That's a definite plus.

If the defense we played against K State comes out this season then we will be better but if not then it could be another 2 loss season.

Arkansas could be better and still be a two loss team.

Actually...no.

Bobby/Les - 2 for 2.

Nick...owns Bobby so far. We are 0-4 against him.

Both games will be tough for us, because both teams continually recruit so well. Bama loses a bunch this year, but 'reload' is Nick's middle name.

And LSU may finally be over its QB controversy. I hope not, but I think maybe so.

We...will be better in '12, than we were in '11. We're losing some WR's, but we still have some. And our running game is coming back, after being sidelined. Our O-line will be improved.

Two very tough games, between three very good football teams.

If history is a teacher, Nick has the edge. But Bobby surely does want to get him.

Too close to call.

My bad. I posted too quick. I thought you said Les owned Bobby.

I'll read more and post less.

well I said at home. And 2011 was not a better team than 2011. Every hog fan will agree on that.

It really is not that hard, we will split Bama or LSU and still could be playing for the SEC Championship. We have a better chance of doing it in 2012 then we did in 2011. It is set up that way but somehow we will screw it up. Just sit back and watch

Why exactly are you hogs so excited about next year?

I see you losing 5 starters on defense and 4 on offense including Adams.

And its not like you've been anywhere near our level of recruiting. Is it because you don't have to play us on the road? I'm sorry but that's not enough. And what's up with your recruiting this year? 2 4*'s, that's all? 11th rank in the SEC out of 12. That's pitiful. Arkansas may not be worth a shite next year. You guys could lose 3-4 games easy.
