no link, a guy I know just told me. He wasn't gonna start but this sure hurts our depth on the Oline.

Sturdivant and Harmon gone, on an already weak O-Line.

QB and TE appear to be the only bright spots on offense.

I honestly think the starters will be ok. But man we have NO depth. All I know is they can't be any worse than 2003's line, and that team turned out ok. But we're an injury or 2 away from catastrophe.

QB ain't much good without a decent O-line.

Like I said Harmon wasn't gonna start and has only seen limited spot duty anyway. This hurts simply for depth, but yeah it definitely hurts.

i think these guys may be worse than 2003 because the attitude is different. i am optimistic about everything, even safety a little if commings is a stud and stays healthy, but this OL is looking awful.

why i worry is because bobo and richt are fricking insistent we run the i formation a majority of the time and run nothing but PA. our run game may be shite like last year and its gonna get murray killed. we run for 2 yards and then bobo calls a trademark obvious PA pass and this OL is gonna get him killed. watching last year you always saw them run that PA and yea it may have frozen some of the dumber defenses but it also gave murray about a split second to make the play or he got crushed.

i think if they are smart UGA will adopt a more spread look. i love figgins but in GDay it became obvious the dude isn't too great a blocker and little ogletree is too small to be effective. i say UGA next year use more single back sets and put more TE out their to assist with blocking. also use more gun and USE THE frickING PISTOL. i think with Murray's skill set, our speed, and lack of an OL this formation is perfect. the running backs still get the ball with momentum and murray has more than a split second before one of our OL gets burned. also provides more options to roll him out of the pocket.

thats my 2 cents. UGA's offense relies so heavily on being big, powerful, and mean enough to knock other guys off the ball for a power run game and then a deceptive PA game. these guys a re 330 lb big babies that move no one and can't pass block much better. we need to quit lying to ourselves that we are a power offense and use our speed.

I think our depth is fine (# wise compared to past years), it's the quality of the depth that is severely lacking. We have Dallas lee, Brent Benedict, Kolton Houston, Austin Long, and three true freshman. Could get ugly, or wecould be fine. Will Friend is going to have to earn his keep

i think there is a reason we went with will friend and why he has a 1 year contract. i feel bad for the guy, it won't be his fault and he will probably still lose his job.

Brantley already got fricked up last year. We're trying to improve upon the 30 yd snaps over the head where it's John v. the 2 DE's running straight up field.
