I know this game is big! Our country is bigger! Win or lose we have the freedom to play the game and conduct ourselves any way we want.
Root for your teams hard LSU & Alabama fans! Remember those that have fought and honor those family members who serve. If you don't know anyone who serves, then get to know them. They are the protectors of our country, yet they are usually simple people like you and I!

Veterans Day is Wed. All teams should recognize the vets and what they did and are doing for our country. When I look out the window at night and can't see the lights of the World Trade Ctr any longer, I always still freeze up and think of those days.

I agree grl ... Gameday SHOULD be right where they are ... given the events of this week, we ALL need to remember that football is a GAME played by YOUNG MEN ...

I laugh when the Army Navy game is on and some people say they shouldn't show it, both teams suck etc. My father would never watch college sports (Typical new Yorker) Only thing he ever watched, college wise, was the Army Navy game. and when I was a kid, he told me that years from now you'll know why. I live less than 8 miles from the World Trade Ctr. I know why now.

I clearly remember my mother watching that game when she could ... she would always say "these guys aren't doing this to get to the pros ... they'll never play ball again" (on a bigger level).

Same here. I'm damn happy that Game Day is there for this game, especially with the tragedy that took place this week.

I got to walk out on my back deck and watch it. TV doesn't do it justice. An unbelievable sight!

I was accepted to the Air Force Academy. One of my biggest regrets was not going. God Bless our heros
