re: Belgium seems charming this time of year

Went the Belgium last year for work. Spent a night in Brussels to see the city. After 1 day, I took the tram to Ghent (where my job was), and stayed there. Ghent was awesome! Brussels is garbage. It's Def been taken over.

No, but our govt took out the sitting Pres and installed Z as Pres. so I guess we started it in reality.
re: Prompted by another thread... What is Estonia doing right in education?
Posted by Abikaasa_Posti_Teel on 4/8/25 at 4:44 pm
My wife is Estonian....hense my name here on Tigerdroppings.
We talked about it a lot when she was pregnant with our first kid.
The closest thing we have here to it is Montessori schools. (Which both our little ones are in.) They also don't start school till like 6/7 years old. However, when they start, you are there to learn. We have wayyy more holidays/days off than them. And they don't do all these "fun days" such as dress up as old people, ECT... She said early education for young ones are mostly about experience. They do a lot outside and let kids get out.
Anddd....let's be honest, culture and demographics.
I was blown away the first time we went and I saw a 5/6 year old kid get on the bus, public transportation, by herself pay, sit down, and get to where sh had to go in Tallinn. It was a 10 min ride with multiple stops. I still think about. No worries of kidnapping, or anything.
Every time we fly back into NOLA after visiting, I want to cry as we land.
I love my home state, but when you go to a place like Tallinn and see what the world could be like, it hurts to come home.

re: What towns/cities in Louisiana should've been a lot bigger than they are?

Donaldsonville. They wanted to build Nichols State there, but sugar cane farmers refused to sell land.
I know it's hard to believe, but so many massive companies wanted to come in to Dville for decades, but the sugar cane mafia families would never sell. So the Easter side of Ascension exploded....and left the West in the dust. Now these people are dying off, they have sold. But it's too late. Damage was done.

Louisiana tax law

I know they said they were going to triple the home mortgage deduction. Is that for 2024 taxes, or 2025 (next year)?
Thanks
Thanks

Any perks to being an L-club member for the spring game?
Just curious.
Just curious.

Estonia has more models per capita than any other country in the world. No Estonia, no care. List is terrible.

Laburge shuttle
Posted by Abikaasa_Posti_Teel on 9/7/24 at 10:07 am
Tried calling Laburge for information on it. Can't through or find anything on website.
And of you have times/locations on the shuttle that runs to the stadium?
Do they still do it?
Thanks in advance!

Hypothetical with BK and Lacey with discipline.
Posted by Abikaasa_Posti_Teel on 9/3/24 at 5:26 pm
Say BK decides to send a message and benches Lacey for this game....and maybe with S. Carolina. (I know, highly unlikely!) Say Lacey gets pissed and becomes a problem like Boutte and he ends up off the team.
Will the same people saying BK better get this team disciplined have his back if it played out this way.
I know there are different ways to discipline players and all, but you never know how players respond. Some take accountability, some don't.
But I get the feeling if it did play out like this, the same people would bitch no matter what he does. It's not enough discipline...or too much!
Just curious on rants thoughts.
Hopefully, it's all behind us and better days/games ahead.

re: Do Tiger fans that use Sling TV find it to be a good option to follow LSU?

I use it and love it. Have no issues with it. Just have good cable. I have top tier with REV, and rarely have an issue.

You realize the OP is a HUGE progressive/liberal right?
He would rather eat dog shite than call out out one of his own. And this guy writing this piece for Wapo is definitely a progressive.
This post really has nothing to do with LSU. If you know the OP, you know this is him playing off what he knows is B.S. but when you have a mental disease like he does, you attack everything but your own kind.
It's really crazy to watch.

We switched from Cox a couple years ago. So damn happy.
Very little issues, and when we had one, great customer service. Highly recommend
