I think you hit on their reasoning for putting fake grass everywhere. I'd wager there is quite a bit of male pattern baldness among the TU powers that be.

We play the game on real grass at Kyle, it’s just what we believe and nowadays you can’t convince a donor to play the game on something artificial, rug burns suck

Nah. These two are taking us back to the promised land. I'm 80% sure we will have real grass for our first SEC season, in 2022.
