This is the correct answer. Administration has been pro-active in working with he and his agent to keep him here. We have been transparent and reasonable (more than reasonable in my opinion). If he leaves, so be it.
If he does go though, he is going to have to own the narrative that comes along with him and so does LSU.

Truth is that we pay him what we pay him because we can AFFORD to do it, spin it however you like but Aggie doesn’t see what we pay Jimbo as an extravagant amount, only those without those resources see it that way

Yep. LSU—the program all of the pundits are calling a top five job—lucked into the 2019 title.
Just like it lucked into the 2007 title.
Just like it lucked into the 2003 title.

What narrative is that?
That winners like Jimbo, Scott Woodward, and Dave Aranda prefer to be at a winning program like LSU, rather than a second-tier program like A&M?

if Fisher stays at A&M he will never get fired as long as he’s able to produce good, top 10 finishes consistently. If he goes to LSU, he will be fired if he doesn’t win a championship in a couple of years
Thanks for admitting you are in fact little brother who can’t match up as a program

Link to Jimbo ever turning LSU down? Certainly you can provide concrete documentation for your claim.

How long do you plan on living? I think with Texaa and OU joining the SEC ATM just lost their only chance. I do think they'll continue to win 1 a century but that's about it

You think a 4-4 Big 12 team is some game changer?

The HC job at A&M comes with lots of money and anything a coach needs to be successful.

That’s only been true for a decade or so.

Taking a coach from within the division will come with narrative baggage. Similar to when TAMU hired Franchione and some of the character questions that came with him. Worse though because you are going to have a roster of kids who are going to face him annually.

Did I say y’all lucked into all the previous titles or just the 2019 one? Reading comprehension my friend, get some.
We all told y’all the stars lined up with the coordinators and burrow transferring in, but y’all didn’t want to hear about it and were crowing y’all had dethroned Alabama and were the next college football dynasty…. And here y’all are less than 2 years removed from that championship firing your coach for being incompetent. So my point still stands, about lucking into that championship, orgeron doesn’t know how to build a top level program.
Again don’t confuse my words by thinking im saying LSU didn’t deserve the championship. They were by far, the best team in college football that year and won the title as they deserved. But Oregeron proved he can’t sustain success and knows nothing about building a championship sustaining program. Of course his other head coaching stops should’ve showed that was obvious years back….

Don’t be scared.
Y’all have no chance of getting him.

We beat t.u 9 out of 10 games IN MY LIFE TIME.
College football runs in cycles. A&M had a one loss season last year. We beat the #1 team this year. We are trending upward which means the beginning of our good cycle has just begun
I fully believe when Jimbo leaves A&M he will go down as our most successful coach in the programs history. Which will include at least one national title.
Do you think Alabama will continue to dominate like they have been? Do you think its feasible that they could be a 7-5 program? Remember how FSU, Miami, Michigan, USC were dominate?

You say that but he's about to have a winning record against your Tigers.

We should fire the coach that allowed that to happen.

Ask t.u about coaching hires after Mack Brown
Nothing is guaranteed. If you think the next hire is going to own Fisher regardless, there's a great chance you'll be thoroughly disappointed. He's got a head start and is recruiting lights already Has a roster full of talent now which means "reload" mode starts 2022.
Imagine an experienced QB entering the 2021 season for A&M
