If Spurrier's "Decent" team stomps the crap out of the Aggies next week, will Sumlin's team continue to be "Eager"?

I can't wait for this game! I think it will be close.

I'm just eager for the offseason to end and see what our team has this season.

If we get stomped then I'll be eager for our powder-puff OOC games.

First of all Spurrier's team is more than "decent". I think they might be overrated at #9, but they are probably the best team in the East. They are favored and should be, they are better than us this year until proven otherwise.

Second, A&M has the youngest two deep in the SEC this year. "Eager" is probably an adequate term.

I've got no idea how we are going to look. I doubt we will be worse on D, but who knows. I bet we put up a fight, but we sure do have a lot of young guys playing. I think we will score points this year though.

How did this wind up as an opener, btw? Is that going to be permanent or just because of the reshuffle and/or the SECN/Thursday game aspect? Just really seems a brutal way for both teams to have to open the season.

USC's opened with a pretty stout program for several years now. UNC last year, Vandy before that, NC State a few times, etc.
