The word Aggie, while out of common fashion now, was once a moderately common team nickname for Agricultural schools. Colorado State, NC State, Kansas State, Michigan State, etc all used to go by it. Its the whole reason the band goes by Fightin' Texas Aggie Band moniker. We were simply the Texas Aggies in the new reports b/c it was easier to and shorter to write than the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas.
There are still two Aggie teams in FBS in Utah St and New Mexico State and NMSU even has a similar color scheme to us.

I just don't see how that could ever hold up in court if you wanted to challenge it.
at least with the 12th Man we actually created the term and were the only ones to use it for years and years.

Yeah, we're obsessed with Baylor. A team that has beat us like 3 times in the past 30 years. Some Aggie put up a humorous billboard stating "thou hall not covet thy neighbor's conference" when they were actually threatening us with a humongous lawsuit for leaving their asses out to dry by leaving their sh** conference. It's a bit different than this, but I wouldn't expect your dumbass to get it.

You're right, there are most likely no grounds for a suit, just a bit pissed by this. Bulletin board material for Florida, and everyone outside of A&M thinks it was us that put it up....the media is even running with it. Vomit.
