Thanks for the link.
That's just not something I've ever heard. And I grew up here.
But I guess I can see why foreigners would talk about said topic.

I "sound" (sic) like I know cocks? Really? Do you "hear" things in silence often? Or did you intend to type, "it reads as if you know cocks?"
Lemme guess ... A&M "legacy" education, amirite?
Yeah, I know Cocks. I also know dicks when I read one posting.

Oh, I know. But some of your fans/posters make others of us question it at times.

Shift work sucks I'll bet. I've got a younger brother who has been doing that with Michelin for almost forty years now and he looks older than me. He says that, still to this day, he can never get used to it.

Two things ... why the double reference to SC State? They are on your schedule in the future?
Secondly, Hyman is right. With the rise of TV coverage and big screens it is a mistake to build bigger these days. Instead you should be building more luxurious.
Michigan claims sold-out Big House, but they never do and it looks bad when they do and they claim the placed is packed and there are empty seats everywhere.
There is a huge difference between a "sold-out stadium," and a "capacity crowd."
Tennessee has not packed their place in half a decade now. Penn State, Ohio State, So Cal, all with big stadiums none of which have capacity crowds very often. Does Texas ever fill War Memorial?
So no one is saying anything but again, this goes back to the belt buckles in Texas. I would be willing to bet this is about one thing, and one thing only ... it's about having a slightly bigger belt buckle than the Longhorns. And I get that, I do ... everyone does, but it is going to look like a huge mistake if you do not fill the place.

There will be a surplus of luxury seating. We'll be overflowing with major revenue spots. They've addressed that perfectly.
Sure, there's an ego element to this. But it's more than "nanny nanny boo boo." Having one of the largest stadiums in the country lends credence to the program's perception, an achievement we've made a very deliberate effort to address.
Will it be smooth sailing from start to end? No. But we'll have 75k students in 7 years, and the program has finally picked itself up from the Fran disaster. It will be interesting.

Awesome. And if you have 75k on campus students - wow, I had no idea. Yeah, you can give half the tickets to the 12 Man, that's definitely a plus.
If what we are hearing is correct, then the SEC bastages, in all their infinite wisdom, has SCAR coming down there in 2014. I've got a good old time friend in Katy who is promising the wife and I a "big Texas time" while we're there. We're hooking up with some other friends up in Oak Lawn in June to make plans and riding down to see Jim and his wife in Katy while there.
I'm actually half Texan, (Mother is Texas born and bred and a graduate of TWU) ... but I've never been to an A&M game. Been to Texas, been to Baylor, but never been to A&M for a game although I have been to Kyle Field on business not all that long ago.
The wife and I are both looking forward to seeing a game there when the time comes.
