As Texas A&M heads into their inaugural season with their new conference, the SEC, many a critic is waiting for the Aggies to fall, and fall hard. Ranging from ESPN analysts to the local Texas media, you would be hard-pressed to find someone outside Aggieland or their new home who doesn't lust for A&M to fail.

I can only imagine the Bleacher Report articles the UT fanbase would churn out if the majority of them spoke English

A&M's Advantage: The Tigers Are a Receding Power

When Auburn took home the national title a few seasons back under the leadership of star QB Cam Newton, most analysts saw the Tigers as a possible top power in the SEC for years to come. As the past season has shown, Auburn is on the decline and will fall even further in 2012.

Their receding power in the SEC West will leave open a slot for A&M to take home a win from the Tigers. While it won't be simple or easy, the Aggies' strong offensive schemes should be more than enough to help them outscore the Tigers.

Ask Mike Sherman how the LSU and Arkansas games went the last three years. Sumlin? That's great strategy, bring the #1 Offense in the Nation to the SEC!

I don't think A&M fans understand how much better LSU, Bama, and Arkansas are than Texas, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State.

You added Arkansas to that list?

We went 6-6 last year in the B12 and Arkansas had to come from 18 down to beat us by 4.

I repeat, 6-6 in the B12 and Arkansas won by 4.

And we are fully aware of LSU. Been rivals for years. And I am actually from Louisiana. Too many posters on here claim Ags have no idea how hard the SEC is. The SEC is the best football and everybody watches it. Even Big 12 schools like A&M, Mizzou and Arkansas

No worries. I was just telling the Bulldog that Arkansas and Ok St aren't on the list with Bama, LSU, OU and Texas yet.

I sure as hell wouldn't mind A&M, Arkansas or Ok St knocking one or two of those schools down a rung and replacing them

Arkansas and Ok St have great coaches. I'm hoping CKS pans out and has us in the SEC title race every 3 or 4 years

Wait...since you are the one that brought up last year, are you trying to say that Oklahoma and Texas were as good as Oklahoma State and Arkansas last year?

Name a team that beat us and didn't appear in the national championship game. As far as i'm concerned we were the third best in the nation.
