It would be a pretty big FU to ESPN/LHN from an Aggie point of view...so if it does happen...

You mean SEC vs Big10? They have us properly listed as a SEC school. I agree it was a poor decision by the OP to post this here, but what happened to SEC pride and winning everything? Do you really want a Big10 school to go down as the best fan base on this? A gameday commercial isn't just promoting A&M, it also promotes the SEC.

Yall are not a SEC school. It will be 15-20 years before yall will be accepted if ever. Just ask Arkansas and South Carolina fans on how that works.

Yeah sure they're in the lead now...but that computer program was built only for a first half performance...they'll collapse, give up the lead and lose in the last second by 3 votes. They will then subsequently fire Sumlin and the new AD. Their CFO will post about it first on TexAgs.

Note: For the record. I don't think they can "cheat" on this second round of voting...it's Fbook login w/ a capture.

I'm sure if there's a way we'll find it.

We wrangled, finagled, and good-'ole-boy'd our way from being a tiny agricultural college full of poor kids to controlling the world's oil industry, don't sell us short.

Can we be guaranteed that the Corps and Yell Leaders will not be in the commercial?

Showing things like our football team, packed stadium, and hot girls would go a lot further.....

I'm rooting for a commercial wherein a rabid Reveille savagely mauls Skip Baylis.

I honestly don't trust ESPN (or any national media outlet) to make a real commercial about us that shows A&M in an overwhelmingly positive light. I still hope it happens, but it seems like the disappointment is inevitable if the actual commercial gets made.

Will not happen.

If we allow them the opportunity, you can rest assured that they will produce 30 seconds of pimply CTs doing the squeeze, interspersed with shots of those idiots who continue to insist on making and wearing painted overalls, and a flash or two of mason jars filled with mystery white fluid for effect.

Remember "Sidelines" (the show that was supposed to be about A&M football but ended up being about Blinn dropouts who got wasted all day)? Expect that.

You can count on both of those things being a major player in a commercial.

Based on all the butthurt and self denying closet homosexuals on this board, I'm starting to hope we push the yell leaders and corps MORE.
