Mediocrity now seems to have become an ingrained Aggie tradition since joining the SEC.
With Bjork still calling the shots "bowl eligibility" is the top end for Aggie.

losing QB1 for more than half the year tends to affect record, especially at a school that cannot recruit much depth at any position

This place wouldn’t be impressed with whoever A&M hired, save for maybe Kirby or Saban.
I think Stoops would have actually been a good choice but Elko could be great too.
