Diggs, Chappell, and Bisontis are all from the Jersey area. Michigan State was our primary competition for Bisontis, so that is where I'm expecting the kid to end up.

And yes, homesick and the loss of Elijah (from the NE) probably played a part as well.

Pretentiousness? Buddy you have no idea what's coming in UT/OU. Sure there are a lot of Aggies with visions of grandeur that year over year get a little overzealous in their convictions. But most Aggies remember our history and are desperate to break thru that glass ceiling. Can you blame a school like A&M with its resources and fan support. We are long overdue. 1998 for anything meaningful was forever ago.

And yes modern A&M does have resource advantages likely over 80% of the conference. But that's also frustrating. It doesn't always equal success. And it just got harder with our horn brethren now back in the fold. In fact I'd wager only UT can easily outmuscle A&M... and every SEC school in resources.

I don't think I've ever heard A&M considered pretentious. Let me introduce you to the burnt orange steers.

"We are national champions because we have great resources and fan support," has never been said by any championship program.

How is the roster gutted? Gilbert - kind of slow, and sucked at tackling Chappell - replaced with a quality CB from KSU (team player) Overton - this one is a loss Nolen - talented but he's going to the highest bidder Lost a couple of backup OL. Seriously, losing OL is the last thing to worry about. The OL was TERRIBLE. Lost a backup QB ... who cares. We still have the more dynamic third string and the starter Lost his brother - still have plenty of TE's to choose from And Stewart STILL hasn't gone in the portal. Will be interesting to watch Still a few upcoming NFL decisions We lead for a great portal WR to replace Anias. Another CB, and a LB from Oregon State. I'm okay with getting an actual coach and replacing these kids ... we are still DEEP on the DL. And a good OL coach is the best part of this deal.

I’m honestly not trying to troll but ur post is 100% copium. You are incapable of being honest. New guys are entering portal everyday. Y’all already weren’t good with all that talent. Yeah y’all arent gutted though. Y’all are stacked. Future is bright. Everything going perfectly according to the Aggie master plan I’m sure.

It was a pretty iconic moment hiring a football coach from a basketball school who never won more than 4 games. I think my favorite quote was “when Duke was healthy they were unstoppable “ - random Aggie. Lol.

I'm sure everybody experiences losing 8 returning starters sooner or later right?

What’s interesting too and no one ever discusses is teams when they make these rash firings are forced to find a replacement that might not even be the best fit because you only have access to be available coaches at the time. They never meticulously plan it to be better off in the future. So whoever aggies would have hired they would be excited about because you’re forced to justify how it’s going to work. It’s like talking your book in portfolio management. If you have a huge stake of course you’re going to talk about how the stock is going to the moon lol. Lose all objectively. A lot different than starting from a place of how the position can be very bad or a disaster. In this case how Elko could be a terrible coach or what the negatives are. (I.e hiring a duke acc coach lol )

Not saying it’s impossible but stop it with the idea you guys have significant advantages over 80% of the other programs in the conference. You don’t

The thing that cracks me up is they think other schools don’t have absolutely massive football budgets and 80-150m football facilities lol. Plus they are an adidas school , that’s pretty embarrassing.
