The playoffs and the regular season are completely different in the NBA. You have teams that destroyed a team in the reg season come back and get swept in the playoffs all the time. This is especially true with veteran teams like SA and Miami that really just look at the regular season as a warm up to the playoffs.

Of frosh, suspect RSJ, Jaquay and Quiv may see PT.
The most ready receiver of the fall enrollees is Sebastian Larue.

I can't wait to watch this little bastard slice through the sec. Assuming he doesn't die the first time he gets hit. Shifty as hell. Great open field runner. Mad style (on the left). Quiv, pounding bitches since berf.

Quiv's tape is impressive, although I have low expectations for him in 2013. Coach Jackson isn't a miracle worker.
You should visit the A&M Board. Go to the Help Board and request access.

I don't think Walker or Parker beat out Jaquay Williams. I think he ends up being the best WR in this year's class. RSJ might eventually catch up and/or pass him, but that's 2 years down the road IMO.

I think tabuyo is going to surprise some people

The backup to JFF is still unsettled. As of now it is probably Matt Davis but Matt Joekel was the #3 last year. Davis was a highly recruited dual threat QB that RS'ed last year but is still pretty raw. There are also 2 highly recruited true fish coming in the Fall but it would be unlikely they pull a shirt unless they had to. So in short there is depth but it's not proven, if JFF goes down A&M is still a bowl team but you can throw out any of the Title contention talk. As for WR's the big stud is Mike Evans who led the team in receptions last year and is an absolute beast. Probably the most physical WR in the SEC and at 6'5 with a 40+ inch vertical he is a coverage nightmare. He's not a speed freak and he is still kind of raw but he can abuse a team. The next most experienced guy is Malcolm Kennedy who progressed nicely last year. His most notable moment was catching the last TD against Bama with a pretty over the shoulder grab. That's where it gets interesting. The talent level at WR is significantly upgraded from last year but the experience is a huge dropoff. A&M lost 3 starting Sr's at WR. A&M had the best WR class in the country coming in highlighted by Ricky Seals Jones but also containing several other strong 4*'s with size and speed. How they perform though is hard to say, in the end A&M needs at least one or two to step up (along with at least one or two from the rest of the WR corps on campus). The X factor is A&M added Cam Clear at TE. He was a former stud recruit at Tennessee that got kicked off the team and went JUCO. He's a real monster physically at 6'7 with hands and size. Last year A&M was rolling out TE's that were more the H Back type so it will be interesting to see how they use the TE. It is also noteworthy that there are multiple RB's that catch the ball out of the backfield and that will likely still be about 20% of the passing attempts.

Depending on the playbook for Johnny, and how much we implement the mobile QB, Davis or Joeckel will be the backup Q. I remember back last spring in the debate for who would be Q, Sumlin saying Matt Davis was the best athlete of all the QBs. Being a better athlete than Johnny is a pretty big statement, imo. I don't know where his arm is at, but if we need running plays from the QB position, he will get the nod I believe.
WR- better group than anyone else in the SEC. Too many specifics.

I've been an SA fan all my life, and I really think we will beat Memphis this year. Our defense has really picked up ( mainly Danny green and Kawhi Leonard). The names I mentioned are players that if they played even close to how they are playing now last year vs okc, we would have won easily. I know a lot of you people living out east do not follow the spurs, we DOMINATE when we are performing on all cylinders. Example- last night.

Who cares. You won't know what it feels like to hoist another championship as long as LeBron is on an active roster.

Ricky Seals-Jones (6'7) - Yes, you read that right. He grew 2 inches since national signing day. He will play wherever he presents the worst possible matchup for the opposing defense and will start as soon as he has refined his route running.

I don't remember seeing that RSJ was amazing in spring, but everyone was kinda raw. I think the offseason will really determine who starts this year.
We also lost Thomas Johnson this year... He was damn good. He is the kid that was rated higher than Oregon's Braylon Addison.
Also, as if it were possible, our running back situation got better. I never would have thought that was possible after seeing Cmike leave.

That's just ridiculous if true.
6'7". Just throw up a jump ball and call it a day.
6'7". Frick.

Didn't that have to do with the fact that RSJ was still in high school?
