Reports from Texags unanimously say Bama fans were awesome and gracious in defeat.

I had a great time. I had to sit with just my 10 yr old bro, bc of last minute tickets. Everyone was nice and polite, made an effort to talk to us and genuinely were nice after the game. Tailgating was step for step with the grove and i didn't know that going in.

Thanks for everything Ttown, sorry for playing spoiler.

So not true. I was there in '07 and '09, and they were even worse when they won

Oh god, Alabama fans are insufferable when they win. It is impossible to be around them.

Didn't make the trip, but those that did said the following:

Bama fans were classy and respectful

Atmosphere was great

My fellow Bama fans are awful, win or lose.

The student section is turrible, but the general fan is bad enough. The sheer amount of ignorant armchair QBs is unbearable to witness a game in person.

This is either sarcastic or you didn't watch the game yesterday. No one in the student section left, and we were into it the whole game. I did not notice if other people left or not honestly because I was focused on the game.

i had 4 groups of friends make the trip. I had to stay back due to work but they all loved it.

-atmosphere was fantastic
-stadium was badass
-fans were very classy and nice

a few of them went in expecting to be harassed but nothing like that happened. Maybe it was due to how we normally act to other fan bases(contrary to all of our former conference will lead anyone to believe). I guess they just went in, acted like normal, and were treated accordingly.

can't wait to make the trip myself

Every SEC city except Starkville is way better than College Station so I'm sure they had a ball.

My sister was there and said it was GREAT. Tailgating, atmosphere, campus, were exceptional. Said she encountered some drunk fans tht gave her a hard time after the game, but you get that everywhere.

I've never been harassed either. Your fans are soft.

They do tend to rub it in your face with that classless ramajamma crap huh? They seem to think it's a cool tradition but that figures!

Great atmosphere and a nice looking place. I've been to gamedays in 7/14 SEC venues so far, so I do have some basis of comparison. I didn't get to look around campus as much before the game as I had planned though as there were a couple of accidents on the interstate which caused me to arrive later than planned. All the fans I encountered were very nice, asked lots of questions, talked some good football, and gracious in defeat. I rode one of the Tide Pride (?) shuttles and got to talk with many of them especially after the game waiting on traffic.

Most answered non-football question was, "What is the deal with your male cheerleaders."

How did A&M travel? I could not see the whole stadium from my seats and wasn't sure if some of the less filled sections up top were visiting fan sections or not. Seemed there were Alabama fans sitting in those areas. My seats were in the lower level just above the A&M band.

The praise has been effusive from all accounts.

Don't believe I've seen such admiration for another fan base.

That is overflow for the student section. They gave us too many seats.
