I was at the scrimmage last night and was looking forward to watching JFF, but I came away unimpressed. He only lead the offense to 1 td while throwing 1 int and having another one dropped. Can he overcome the pressure of winning the heisman? Serious question not a flame attempt.

Oh nooooooo! The experts were right, JFF is really bad at football now.

Who knows how the season will go for JFF.

A lot will depend on the play calling and how much pressure to make something happen JFF has on him.
His best friend will be a strong running game to create balance.

Third and long after two run attempts is a hard down for any QB to try and complete a pass. JFF will need to learn to be patient.

The problem with a JFF QB is you can live or die on turnovers.

Yet to be determined. While he was out partying all winter, guys on other teams were probably working out, trying to get better. We will see if he regresses.

Reading the aggie 247 site, they say all 3 QBs looked like shite. All the ags on here were saying that the backup QB transferring wouldn't matter because Matt Davis was JFF 2.0. Well, he apparently looked like hot garbage and they are questioning whether he will ever play QB in the SEC. I guess being able to run and having a lot of acne doesn't automatically make you JFF.

Reminds me of the "we wont see much dropoff in offensive production with Trotter back there" talk from AU fans after 2010.

Oh no! The reigning SEC rushing champ wasn't allowed to run, so he forced some throws. A&M screwed...

And, for the record, he had two picks last night -- sure you were there?

No but he did have words with a defensive player after one of his bad passes.

As much as Auburn fans deny cam was paid, Texas A&M fans won't face reality that JFF is a shitty guy with a huge head that will suck next year.

1. Provide a quote, link, ANYTHING saying that "Matt Davis was JFF 2.0"

2. Matt Joeckel is the backup...for now.

3. Kenny Hill will probably be the 2nd best QB on campus the moment he arrives.

He was bad last spring too. At this point last year, everyone thought Jameill Showers would be the starter. In practices, they don't really let him run, which is why he surprised everyone (including us) when he started playing.

Basically, may he suck in the fall? Maybe. But this is not indicative of that yet.

I heard JFF wasn't a good practice player last year before the season. They were surprised at how good he was when it's game time though.

That is why I was asking the question. I realize he couldn't really run last night. But his passing was not very good

In JFF's defense, he was drunk as shite.
