Jealous? Hardly. Who cares? But anything the Ags can do to try to transform that ugly campus they should at least try. Short of tearing the ugly mess down and moving to a much more attractive area out of state it won’t make much difference.

If I want to show my degree to potential employers, I think that the greater "academic prestige" of TAMU would be nice to have
Unless the degree is from an Ivy League or equivalent school, where you graduated from isn't as big of a deal as you are suggesting.

what a big old waste of money... leave it to a texan to throw money at something trying make seem like all big and bad and then cant do anything with it... texas am will never will a championship ever... no matter how much money you waste. Seem to me lot of that money could be used to help all the hungry and poor people in texas...
