So asking legitimate questions about legitimate university functions is trolling?

It's not like the troll is lost on us, but it's a bit more amusing when someone at least plays along.

Fish Camp is a love/hate thing with people. Or there's the "FOW was my fish camp" crowd as well.
Fish Camp is a good way to make quick friends and learn A&M traditions/fight song/school song as well as get the basic info for campus on different topics. They also have little reunions at Aggie soccer and football games in the fall. It's a really corny deal, but it can be fun.
People mostly don't like it because of the corny factor as far as I know.

it was more me than the actual camp i think. i grew up in los angeles and the first day of fish camp was my second day in texas. wasnt terrible, but i just wish i personally didnt go within the first 2 days of me being in texas.

Fish Camp should be called Brainwashing Camp or Cult Compound. Don't do it. You don't need it to make friends or learn the yells.

So you felt like a little fish in a big pond?
Understandable.

It's also a good time to take the "jar filling" intro seminar.

Did any of you ags change your major to Jizz Jar Engineering after fish camp like I did?

My cousin went to fish camp and learned how to "hump it."

It doesn't mention that seminar on the website.
It does say this though:
quote:
Is Fish Camp filling up? I’m afraid I won’t get the session I want/need.
My cousin says he needs a really big session. Does Fish Camp accommodate this request?
quote:
Typically, the early sessions fill up fastest.
Is this a code or something?
