Here's a recap of what's happened over the past 5-10 years to illustrate the folly of institutionalized arrogance:

5. Dodds secretly starts negotiating a merger with the Pac10 without consulting A&M

6. Missouri flirts with the Big 10 cuz the longhorns suck

7. Pac 10 plan revealed, Baylor left out.

9. Colorado, worried about Baylor pants shitting and political posturing, joins the Pac 10 unilaterally

10. Aggies (specifically, Admin. Gene Stalling) say eff you to pac 10 plan. We want SEC. You longhorns can come with us if you don't like you situation, not the other way around. Don't tell Daddy what to do.

11. Nebraska leaves the Big Twatever because longhorns and the Big Twatever sucks, leaving the Big Twatever at 10 teams

12. Pac 10 deal abandoned because longhorns are shitting pants at the thought of Daddy getting to leave them with all the kids and go to a much better conference with better exposure and no influence from longhorn cheating and bullshite

13. Baylor and other Big Twatever left-behinds agree to pay Daddy extra money to not go to the SEC

14. LHN is announced. The contract calls for more than 2 games on LHN. Other Big Twatever schools pissed

15. Longhorns try to get high school games on LHN as a recruiting advantage. Other Big Twatever schools pissed. The NCAA says it's a violation, puts a stop to it.

16. Aggie President gets a copy of the LHN/ESPN agreement showing that they are never going to participate in a conference network and the parties will use best efforts to get as many conference games as possible on the LHN, taking money out of the Big Twatever distribution pot and keeping it all for longhorns and ESPN, at the expense of the other conference members.

17. A&M President tells Dodds et al to frick off and accepts the invitation to join the SEC

18. Baylor shite pants again. Threatens lawsuit.

19. Dodds and Longhorns try to belittle A&M to get us to us to change our mind about the SEC, stating that U of H would be a good replacement if the Aggies leave

20. Aggies don't bite on the troll, but flip it around and say "SEE!!! WE CAN LEAVE WITHOUT DAMAGING THE CONFERENCE. REPLACEMENTS ARE AVAILABLE AND WILLING."

21. Longhorns still can't give A&M credit for being a power and stick to the "A&M is worthless" mantra.

22. Dodds et al threaten to never play the Aggies again.

23. Aggies say "we will play the game anytime and anywhere" which is code for "frick off, butthurt little twat"

24. Longhorns try to go to the B1G, fail

26. Longhorns try to get Notre Dame to join Big Twatever, fail
