The Carolina Girls win D1 NDA National Title in Daytona

That’s because there is two organizations that recognize National Championships. As with cheer, there is NCA and UCA. South Carolina will be more widely recognized as National Champions. The competition that takes place in Daytona, in both cheer and dance, are generally considered the more prestigious National Championships. In dance the two organizations are NDA and the other escapes me right now. Great achievement by both squads.

I was a Gamecock Cheerleader. I know all about the Cheer/Dance competition structure. I was mainly just giving Farmer a hard time.

I apologize. Most people not involved don’t have a clue. My daughter will cheer for the Razorbacks next year as an incoming freshman. I was by no means trying to imply you didn’t know. Just replied to you because I like the Gamecocks considerably more than the Aggies.

NCA is headquartered in Dallas and was started by a SMU cheerleader who invented the Pom pom.
Cheerleading uniforms are a huge business and both companies hold these phony "championships" to increase their sales.
They begin massaging parent egos with little girls below 1st graders and continue through adulthood.
Just remember NCA and UCA are competing businesses to sell cheerleading supplies at very high prices.

The Aggies dance team is impressive. Some are more attractive than others but there are no dogs on the team.
