We'll never let it go. Disdain for texas university is as fundamental as breathing for us. As much fun as watching our football team be successful this year, it was that much sweeter knowing the t-sips had to read about it every Sunday morning.

LSU plays TCU. way way way better ooc game than any of yours. if you argue that then you are not a smart individual

TCU beat SMU by all of 8 points last year and lost to them in 2011.

Our FCS team would brutalize your FCS team...
...and Georgia State.
But go easy on Tigger -- they need some easy games with the conference cornholing they're going to get.

In addition to Arkansas becoming a conference game, A&M also moved from a 9 game conference (only 3 ooc games) to an 8 game conference (need 4 ooc) so we only had 2 games scheduled for a couple years and we need 4

Hey cut us some slack. Let me explain:
1. Rice-It's always funny to hang around with nerds. Especially since there are High Schools in Texas with larger student bodies.
2. Sam Houston State-They are our neighbors, 40 miles down the road. They just lost the National Championship to North Dakota State for the second year in a row. They are still traumatized. Plus it is the home of the Texas Prison System. It allows time to visit former Baylor players and coaches who are ...ahem...detained for drugs, murder, etc..
3. SMU-Still the best team money can buy. Allegedly whenever Craig James is in town we end up missing 5 more hookers. Remember, I said allegedly.
4. UTEP-The M-13 drug cartel ordered us to play them. We were born at night but not last night.

Agswin FTW!
Seriously, we had some scheduling issues due to:
a) our move to a new conference
b) the steady implosion of our old conference -- which by dumping the divisions made it necessary to schedule far fewer OOC games than we had previously. When you go to 9 conference games, you don't exactly have OOC games lined up for the next decade.
Over the last 10 years we've had home/home OOC series with Clemson, Va Tech, Miami, and the domers. Arky was a neutral site OOC, and Florida State cancelled a home-and-home series a few years back. We also start USCw in '14.
We're not ducking good OOC competition -- there's just nothing good to be had on 12 months' notice...

Amen, brother! That's what we want as well. If that series ever resumes, that will be our big OOC game each year. tu refuses to schedule us in any sport. Our tennis and swimming coaches tried to schedule them this year. All we heard were crickets.
Our official policy on playing them is, "any time, anywhere." The ball is in their court.

Bama gets a bye week before the Aggie game. Does genius Saban need the extra time to lube up?
BTW: We get a bye week before LSU!

Also helps to play as many games in Texas as possible due to those bastards running around trying to convince recruits that we will never again play in the state.

Holy crap. Bama fan calling out another program because of their schedule? Really?
Virgina Tech - Can't do anything about them being down. I'll give you a mulligan. After all, you're used to getting them.
Colorado State - Saban gets to beat up on one of his former coordinators in the latter's second year at the helm after they went 4-8 this year. Losses: 22-7 against N. Dakota State, 40-20 against San Jose State, 31-19 against Utah State, 42-21 against Air Force, 28-7 against Fresno State, 38-14 against San Diego State, 45-31 against Wyoming, 42-14 against Boise State. They are consistent though. Finished 3-9 in 2009, 2010, and 2011.
Georgia State - A team that will have a new coach in 2013 after going 1-10 in 2012. Bill Curry's last season before retiring, and they couldn't even schedule 12 games. Football program launched in 2008. Didn't start playing until 2010.
Chattanooga Mocs - Another team that only played 11 games in 2012. At least they had a winning record though...6-5. Another model of consistency. 2009: 6-5; 2010: 6-5; 2011: 5-6.
And then of course your SEC schedule includes Kentucky and Tennessee. I get that you can't do anything about your formidable permanent opponent, but your alum handling the bridge schedule switched Georgia for you and gave you the Wildcats. Both teams are going to be under a first-year head coach, and were a combined 7-17. UT's win total was only five because they got to play Kentucky.

Bama fans need to worry about their own pathetic schedule and not anyone elses. The SMUs of the world could probably beat Kentucky. Virginia Tech isn't exactly a powerhouse either.

Forget SMU -- Sam Houston State is hands-down the toughest OOC game we have. They've been to the FCS Championship two years in a row. Most of their squad are DI transfers -- a couple from A&M have contributed this year. They hung 28 on our second team defense in a little over a quarter of play.
Are they FCS? Yes -- yes they are. But at least they're really good FCS.
